Beautiful location! We truly enjoyed our time there. Only downfall was having power off for the day on our final day. Understandable due to nature, but made for an uncomfortable time closing up.

My family visited Maui for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Penthouse 1 at Sugar Beach Resort was a perfect location to celebrate the occasion with our two sons (ages 2 and 8 years old). The accommodations were exactly what we needed. The communication and flexibility from the owners of the condo are amazing. I would highly recommend this location to anyone interested in staying in the center of Maui , with the ability to enjoy South Maui, the western part of the island, or Up Country. We will definitely be back!

Well stocked kitchen. The place was as advertised and the views were even better. You can see Haleakala completely and you have a generous view of the ocean too. Great spot. I'll be back.

Everything we needed...

We extended our stay by a few days and were very happy with the accommodations! The bed was so comfortable and kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities! The location was central to all the sites and activities we had planned.

Quiet location

Great location and beach

Overall great stay. Location is great. Condo was stocked for our arrival. Lots of spices for cooking, great beach chairs as well. The bed was super comfortable after long days on the beach or walks and hikes. Condo is a bit dated, but who goes to Maui to stay in a condo. Communication with host was great. Would definitely stay at this resort again.

Kristi is the best. She worked with us on late check out.She was so patient with me when I was at the wrong condo.This place is stocked with everything you could need to cook, but also with everything you need to go to the beach.

Sugar Beach Resort

We love the location of sugar beach resort. We have stayed at this resort 2 times and have always been happy with our decision. This particular condo has road noise, but we expected it based on its location within the resort. I won’t say this resort is “fancy” but it has all the qualities (beachfront, pool, hot tub) for a great vacation. Bonus, is Dina’s sandwich shop, amazing Rueben sandwich!

Well equipped condo for two

The condo had everything we needed for a nice beach vacation. Chairs, umbrellas, cooler, etc. Communication with the owner was great and she was very flexible on check in and check out timing. The only thing we were disappointed in was that the beach wasn't great for swimming, it's on a stretch of mud flats.
