Relaxing Log Cabin Retreat minutes from Whiteface

Enjoy all that the Adirondacks have to offer while staying at Tumblerock Cabin. This newly constructed, Katahdin log home is located within the Ausable Acres community in Jay, New York. Within walking distance are miles of cross country skiing and hiking trails, a small lake for fishing or canoing, a playground, two tennis courts and several access points to the AuSable River and all that it has to provide.

Take a short drive to Whiteface Mountain to experience some of New York State's best skiing and mountain views. Or grab a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants and shops in nearby Wilmington and Jay.

Just a few more miles away is the historic village of Lake Placid which offers shopping and fine dining as well as numerous outdoor activities.

Or just stay put and relax on the front porch, take a soak in the Jacuzzi, or curl up in front of the fire with a good book, or sit in the open loft and enjoy a movie. Tumblerock Cabin is a great place to go for relaxation and renewal.

ADK cabin

Great location nearby Lake Placid, Whiteface and High Peaks, Ausable Chasm and Lake Champlain. Room setup good for our family. We enjoyed the charcoal grill and fire pit.

Cozy getaway

The cabin was cozy and clean! The kitchen was stocked with cookware and we were able to prepare a feast together. We enjoyed using the downstairs TV to play games and liked the pool table. Also, the hosts were responsive to our messages. I would recommend this cabin for a stay!

Fun in the snow

We had a great time. The whole family loved the cabin and at times didn’t want to leave. It’s so close to whiteface and Lake Placid. Great food near by as well.

Beautiful location 30 mins to lake placid

My family and I really enjoyed staying at the cabin. The location was perfect. Quiet campground kind of feel, yet 30 minutes from lake placid and only 15 minutes to Whiteface mountain. We would definitely stay again. It was fully stocked with everything but the food. So nice convenient and comfortable! Thank you for your hospitality.
