FABULOUS, CLEAN & Wonderful home that was built in the late 1800's with it's latest interior update taking place consistently. The first floor is an open concept with views from front to back. The Natural Sunlight System consist of 25+ windows and a 4'x 8' skylight. The neighborhood is 1 mile north of Hyde Park, the University of Chicago and 1 mile west of Lake Michigan. Plus it's just 3.5 miles from the McCormick Place Convention Center and 6.3 miles to Navy Pier. The 3 bedrooms are located on the second level with two full bathrooms and one bathroom on the main level. Flat screen TV's in every room

The home was had everything that we were looking for, great location, cleanliness, comfort and overall feel of home. The host was very nice, If we ever needed anything the host was spot on. I would definitely recommend this location. I will be staying here again.

The perfect place to stay

I was traveling wit coworkers for a trade show at McCormick. It was a6 minute or so drive. The house had plenty of parking out front. The check in process was super easy and the host was always reachable. I had a question or two and he always contacted me back immediately. The how was eclectic but in a good way. The kitchen was great with bottled water in the fridge. Such a nice touch because it was so hot out. The bedrooms were nice. Bathrooms nice. Everything was clean. It’s a beautiful house with exposed brick. Reminds me of old brownstones in Brooklyn. There were condiments in the fridge, plenty of dishes and silverware. The dining room table is set for 6. I slept soundly and the air conditioning and thermostat worked perfect. We felt very safe. We actually found that Former President Obamas residence was a few blocks away. There are restaurants and eateries close by. The only two minor items were that there was a park in the other side of the way and people played pickleball super early. I slept through it. My colleague found it noisy. (Host has no control over that). The second was that the house next door started some renovations. Again, temporary and out of the hosts control. I would 10/10 stay there again.

Reggie was quick to respond to any questions we had. The town house was in a great location for the Bears game we were attending the weekend we stayed here. There was plenty of space for us to spread out and had everything we needed for a weekend away. Would deffinately recomend for anyone looking for a quiet, safe, convienient place to stay close to everything downtown.

Weekend trip

We came into town for the Margarita Festival. By chance, we were able to check in early. No issues with getting into the house. Lots of parking right outside. The house is beautiful! Cute patio in the back! Reginald was very responsive. Even the neighbors were nice! One gentleman told us what a “great guy” Reginald is!! Everything was clean and well equipped. If you are looking for a relaxed vibe Reginald’s place should be on your list of places to stay.

Roomy and nice three bedroom

We stayed for graduation at nearby college and it was perfect on terms of location, ease of parking and facilities. The beach was also close by and easy to drive or uber everywhere. Thanks!

In Town for Promat Expo at McCormick Place

What a wonderful way to experience our first time to spend more than a few hours in Chicago! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Had about 3 seasons worth of weather during our time in town, was very interesting. The home is comfy and unique. Shopping centers are very convenient to the property. Our Chicago Oasis

Our entire stay was “smooth sailing!” for us. Reggie was caring, profesional and responsive to our needs. He made provisions for an early check-in and, when asked, mentioned the possibility of a late checkout as long as the schedule didn’t conflict with the arrival of other guests.The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe. We rented a car and had no issues finding parking, regardless of the time. You’ll find some fast food spots (chinese, fry chicken and fish) nearby, as well as a Supermarket, Trader Joe’s, Ross’ Department Store. Even if you’re not renting a car you should be able to get around using Ubber service and/or public transportation to some extent. The property is fabulous, plenty of space to entertain small intimate family gatherings, bridal parties, yoga/gastronomy workshops, small lover’s retreats.The bedrooms are spacious, private, and the beds comfortable.The kitchen is fully decked: with all the pots/pans, utensils, and spices you could possibly need, and then some. Overall, Reggie (and wife) thought about everything! So grateful for the bottled water! Need needle and thread? Just look inside the bathroom cabinet drawer, Do you need hangers for your clothes?Check the walk-in closets, plenty of hangers there. Need an extra blanket? You’re sure to find a couple as well. Did you forget your robe? We have some of those too! More than a “vacation spot” you will feel the warmness of home, my new Chicago home! Thanks for your outstanding hospitality.

All Good in Kenwood

Very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Quiet location, with nice restaurants in the area and a short distance to the paths along the lake. We were in town for a wedding, and there was ample room for our group. We all slept well, and enjoyed all the unique spaces in the home.

Very nice!

Beautiful remodeled older home in a quiet neighborhood. Not really near any of the moat popular activities/destinations, but Uber was easy. Beautiful architecture in the area. We felt very safe and comfortable here.

Affordable and lovely

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The updated home was clean and featured an eclectic assortment of fun furniture arranged with various nooks for family members to find a place to chat or relax. We all agreed our beds were very comfortable. We were delighted to use the paddles and pickleballs provided by the host, there is a court located a short walk from the house. It was very easy to walk a few minutes and catch a bus uptown, less than 30 minutes total to get right in the heart of the city. We would definitely stay here again, thanks Reggie!
