We arrived to find the unit well decorated and appointed. Let me list first the redeeming qualities of this unit:
-two double beds in guest room is great for a larger family
-updated countertops and decor
-very well stocked kitchen
-large balcony although it provides no privacy from neighbors
- splash pad for little kids is great
Now, the problems:
-beds looked like a three year old had made them and there was food found on the master bed comforter
-the wall of mirrors in the living room was very dirty and streaked
-I had to clean the master toilet upon arriving ( I will spare you the details)
- the kitchen counters were dirty
- the refrigerator was covered in handprints and grime and the inside had crumbs all in it
- every piece of furniture was covered in dust
- the building itself was filthy....dust everywhere, floors dirty, etc
- we walked past bags of dirty linens and garbage by the elevators that was left there all day
- The pool was in bad shape...missing tiles, cracked coping
I emailed Brett/Robinson our first night there as it was late. I stated that there was obviously a cleaning staff issue . I never heard from them. Emailed the next day to report dirty laundry and garbage (literally shrimp peels and q tips) all in the hallway all day. Still no response. If I were the owner of this unit, I would be livid. Not only will I not stay in this unit again, but I won't stay in another Phoenix property or anything managed by Brett/Robinson. I didn't ask to be compensated or anything. I just wanted a proper confirmation that my concerns were noted. As I said in my email to the company, it is kind of hard to relax when you are surrounded by filth.
