Beautiful OCEANFRONT Condo with Pool

Condo, 1 Bedroom, 1.5 Baths, Sleeps 4
Lovely completely updated and exceptionally clean smoke-free and pet-free one bedroom and one & half bath direct oceanfront condo (#110) with 20' private balcony (not facing others as in the mega complexes of Sea Colony, etc).

NOTE: 6 night minimum stay required between mid June and mid August.

Our condo underwent a major remodel to expand the living area and add the convenience of a powder room (along with washer/dryer, features not found in all units in this building). It is furnished in an attractive coastal decor---especially bright and airy because of the remodel with the soothing sound of the surf throughout!

New for the summer of 2015 was the total renovation of the bathroom. Prior to that, a new kitchen was installed---including fresh white cabinetry, beautiful quartz countertops and all new appliances.

The bedroom contains a queen size bed, the living room has a queen size sleeper sofa with newer replacement mattress, and there are flat screen tvs/dvd players in both rooms. Free wireless internet and upgraded cable is provided for your convenience.

The condo (Unit #110) is well located away from the noise and foot traffic of the common areas in mid-sized Fenwick Towers Condominiums on the first floor (one floor up from ground)---literally nestled in the dunes mere steps to the beach or our sparkling outdoor pool! (Please note---there is clear and direct view of ocean from this unit, however view of the beach is obstructed by the shrubs anchoring the dunes---our building is wonderfully situated that close to the surf!)

Accommodates four people making it just perfect for small families and couples.

Ideally located in Fenwick Island on a prime stretch of wonderful uncrowded beach (no direct access to the public!) just below South Bethany and only minutes north of Ocean City, MD---a simply unbeatable location away from the crowds while still affording you easy access to all of the great dining, shopping (only 20 minutes from the Tanger Outlets!), boardwalks, watersports, golf, and more that this terrific area has to offer.

The onsite office has Rollaway beds, Pac 'N Plays, Little Beds, High Chairs, Beach Umbrellas and Beach Chairs available for rent on a first come first served basis and may also be reserved while you make a reservation for this condo.

Absolutely everything about it was great! People, location, and costs. Great communication from the owners. It's out of town, so it's quiet. It's an easy walk to your own stretch of beach and very affordable. If we ever visit the area again, this is where we will stay.

Nice area

It's a nice area you could travel to ocean city, Bethany beach boardwalk,Assateaque Island. Nice private uncrowded beach. That's a great great eateries down the road. Then you return back to your quiet condo.

Exactly as described

Nice place to stay right on the beach. If we could change one thing, it would be the A/C vent right over the kitchen counter. It blows cold air directly on the counter instantly cooling everything on the counter with no way to redirect the air flow. Not what you want when preparing a hot meal. Other than that, the place is great!

Just what I needed. Was what it said it was. Clean, well decorated, comfortable enough. People super friendly. I'd come back. Good for single, couple, or small family with 1 or 2 young kids. Quiet and away from the throngs of OC and Rehobeth. Beach here much less crowded than elsewhere. One weird thing was trucks allowed on the beach north of us and south of us. DE-1 great for biking for exercise. 4 miles to Bethany.

Small but sufficient

Nice cozy place right on the beach. Older building but fairly well maintained. Bathrooms were tiny, but sufficient. Only three concerns worth mentioning: pool closed ridiculously early at 6 pm and opened quite late (10 am for general use). For what I'm paying, the pool should be open until at least 8 pm. The washing machine in the unit is a nice idea in theory, but it stunk so bad I didn't dare use it. Finally, although the kitchen has all the basic necessities, you won't find any of the extras (e.g. plastic storage containers and the like) that make a big difference for useability. Would stay there again though if planning another beach vacation.

Best condo in the building!

All the condos have a gorgeous 360 views of the ocean. It was almost magical to go to sleep by the sounds of the waves crashing on the shore. The only problem I had was not about the unit. What was weird to me and my husband was that they allow off-road vehicles to drive on the actual beach. There were some beachgoers laying out and enjoying themselves, when suddenly a huge Dodge Ram came barreling down the shore, beeping at the people to move out of its way. That kind of skeeved us out, and we didn't want to lay in sand with the visible dirt and oil from the cars. However, the unit is beautiful, the ocean is just over the sand dune in front of your balcony. It was spotless and nicely decorated. It made our vacation very enjoyable. Plus the staff was very nice and helpful.

Great for a small family and immediate beach/pool access

Great place for a small family! We had a great stay! The unit is small but clean. The fold out couch worked perfect for my 4 and 6 year old to sleep on while we slept in the main bed. The main bed could use a new mattress. Everything you need for the kitchen is available (cooking, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine). We loved the quick access to the beach, the showers and hoses when you come off the beach for the day are also great! I was careful to find a unit that was on the first level as the taller buildings with balconies make me nervous with small kids. You could see the water from the balcony but not the beach which was fine because we wanted to be in n a lower level. The main bathroom and shower are quite small for an adult but the water pressure in the shower was great! There is an additional bathroom with just a sink and toilet which was helpful with the kids. The beach was not very crowded which was nice for the family. We also enjoyed having the washer and dryer within the unit to do laundry as needed. There is also a snowball truck that comes everyday at 1pm and announces to both the beach and the pool which the kids loved! Would definitely stay again.

Nice little ocean view property

We enjoyed our stay here with our 11 month old son. It was just the right size for us. I did notice about 30 minutes after we got there his knees were black from crawling around on the floor though. The bathrooms are very tight and the bed could definitely use an upgrade. Overall though it was a nice spot with a great ocean view, beach and pool right out your door. It was priced right for what we got and the time of year. I’d consider staying here again if we vacation in the fenwick area.

Ideal Location

The property is "cozy" small but has everything you need. The best part about it is the proximity to the beach. And the privacy of the beach. You if are going for the beach and want to be close to it and have a nice place to stay, this is a great choice!

Location is ideal, condo unit was clean.

The listing indicated that there has been many upgrades, but there are more that need attention. The front door is warped, therefore it is hard to work the lock. Also and the mattress needs replacement. While we were there there was a tropical storm, so we closed the hurricane shutters. They were very hard to work and need wd40 to help them move smoothly. There was one flashlight with a dead battery. The unit is not prepared for storms.

Perfect COVID vacation

This was the perfect place to vacation amid COVID. The property was clean and safe. Signs were posted with expectations and the management team took their responsibility to ensure safety very seriously. Most other guests were couples or small families who were also abiding by guidelines set to wear masks, etc. This is also located on a quiet stretch of beach so we weren’t concerned about overcrowding and social distancing was possible. The pool was also accessible via a reservation system and, while half hour slots were a little short, it was nice to enjoy a very uncrowded pool! The unit itself was just as described and fit our needs perfectly. The in-unit laundry was a huge plus and saved a lot of stress and time! Thanks to everyone at Fenwick Towers!

Fenwick Towers

Location is outstanding. Unit’s layout was good and it was a cute place. Unit was clean and included everything needed for a week stay. Shower lacked water pressure was the only thing to note. In addition, unit could use a professional paint job. All in all we would stay there again.
