About the host
Hosted by Dan Rubinoff

We've been hosting for over 10 years and have met a lot of wonderful people from all over the world! It's quite remarkable. We really enjoy sharing the spectacular area that we have come to enjoy with others coming to experience Maine for it's beauty and way of life. Growing up here gives us a unique ability to share many of the places the locals enjoy on a regular bases. Come enjoy the Portland Area with it's natural coastal beauty, great restaurants, extensive and unique shopping experiences, variety of night life still with a small town feel.
Why they chose this property
Our area is one of the safest, quietest neighborhoods in the area. It is literally a stones through from Back Cove a Natural Ocean inlet to Casco Bay with a three mile walk, jog, biking path that surrounds the bay. Just five minute drive or 15 minute walk into Portland's downtown area and the the Old Port area where much of the activity is going on day and night. The neighborhood also boasts many fine restaurants, watering holes, and coffee shops within walking distance. Public transportation and uber are easily available to those without a car. As well as the Downeaster passenger train that has stops at Old Orchard Beach or LL Beans Flagg Ship Complex in Freeport for just $3/pp one way.
What makes this property unique
Our location is central to all types of activities yet by the bay and in a quiet safe area of the city. The Back Cove Area ia a very desired area amongst travelers.
