About the host

I was born and raised here in Casper, Wyoming and come from a family of carpenters. Woodworking is a passion of mine.

Why they chose this property

This property, and the acreage surrounding it, has been in my family for a number of years. The original homestead site...just a short distance from the meadow you are staying in...has been in my family since the 1950s. My parents built the original homestead, which we unfortunately lost to a devastating wildfire in 2012.

What makes this property unique

The land this wagon sits on is unique because of the history it holds in our family. The Canyon Rim Wagon itself is the second sheep wagon I have built by hand using lumber from trees I harvested from the property after the 2012 fire. I then milled the lumber and finished every piece by hand.
