Clean property. Host was very easy to work with. We did not use parking area but seemed to be ample area. Kitchen worked fairly well. The pilot lights on the stove were a bit finicky at times. Very little closet space (only on bedroom) and the king size bed was in a room far too small for a king bed especially with the enormous bed frame and gigantic TV. A bit of a work in progress with some plugs pulling out from the wall. Nice to have a large washer and dryer.

Pros: Quiet neighborhood, felt safe going in and out of the house. Upstairs bathroom shower was amazing. Cons: warmer in living room, stained pillows, couches and floors felt like dust mites all over( simple fix) All in all it was a good stay.

The host had great communication, the house were as beautiful as the pics.. very accommodating with places to go near the house. My family and i enjoyed our stay for my birthday nice quite area. Very homily atmosphere i would definitely book again and recommend!

There were several things that needed fixing. Therefore I was disappointed. Months ago others wrote that these things were broken and I thought they would have been fixed by the time we were there. The bathroom sink in the basement was not functioning, stains on the furniture in the basement. The upstairs bathroom the towel and toilet paper brackets were broken and clothes hook on door was gone. The bathroom door was difficult to open because new flooring was put in and the door is too long, so had to really push on the door to open and close it. Nice big sofa but only one seat worked to have your feet up. No pans for baking or pizza. The only coffee pot was a Kuierg, which would have been fine if I knew that was the kind of coffee pot that was available. No bedding for the basement bed. No extra throw blankets to cover up with when watching tv. There was no toiletries for taking a shower or washing your hair. One coffee cup, 3 forks that were infant size. Pretty stingy on supplies, I thought we would run out of toilet paper.The house was clean and nicely decorated which is appreciated.Appliances worked well. TVs were large. Neighborhood was quiet and well kept.I was disappointed but we made it work.

Cute house in Chicago suburbs. A few things need attending to; but nothing that stopped us from having a good time.No water in downstairs bathroom sink. Shower and toilet were fine. Broken toilet paper holder in upstairs bath, but there was toilet paper! A/C was running a little warm on our second night, but seemed fine the next morning. Overall we were comfortable and had all the essentials!

This space was perfect for our short stay in the city; plenty of parking space for our vehicles in a nice neighborhood, a quaint living room for socializing before and after our event and comfortable beds overnight. Although we didn’t take advantage, the downstairs bar would have been a cool space for a night cap. The host was very amenable, responsive and supportive.

This house was STUNNING! I loved every moment i shared in this home. loved it like my own, the rules were simple. Host communicated easily. Heat works WONDERS! The pictures doesn’t give the house enough love it was amazing! They had dishes which was GREAT! For the pans i recommend getting something to keep your food from sticking. No complications or complaints with the home or host! I definitely will be booking again!

My husband & I enjoyed our long weekend in the Maywood area. The house was more than enough space for the two of us. We did have a few issues that the owner was quick to respond to & solve. The owners were very good at informing us of work happening around the house. The parking behind the house was nice. We also appreciated how quiet the neighborhood was during the nights. The king size bed was nice. But, the bed is against the wall, so if my husband needed to get up in the night, he had to climb over me. The bed seemed to sink down in the middle. Upon looking my husband found that some of the bed supports were broken in the middle. The livingroom & kitchen were welcoming & clean, but we felt the mainfloor bathroom & under the bed in the master bedroom could have been cleaner. The kitchen worked okay for our brief stay, but it is minimally supplied. Over all, we enjoyed our time in Maywood. Thank you!

Nice house, spacious! Only cons are there aren’t convenient outlets in the rooms to charge your phone while laying down, the front door lock is annoying to lock each time you leave the house, and the lint trap for the dryer tears your clothes. I’d stay again though! P.S. it’s just a little far from downtown (30 minutes) if you’re mostly going out in that area the Ubers/lyfts are costly if you don’t have a rental!

Looking for a safe well lit area to stay in during your stay in the city???? THIS IS THE PLACE! The hosts were so kind and inviting. Ready to help when we had a little glitch. The home is BEAUTIFUL and wonderfully decorated. The beds are so comfortable and THAT TUB! The location was perfectly located between the airport and the location of our regional. If we are ever in the area for a weekend or longer this will be our first go to. Thank you again for your hospitality and again your home is BEAUTIFUL. The only complaint i can come up with is .... the heat works too well.

great place, loved the comfort of living room and two bathrooms. Main bedroom tv was great to have but very difficult to operate. Had to get remote loaded to my phone, very difficult, time consuming and cost 6.00 per week for remote that you then have to remember to cancel. I stay in vrbo for kitchen use to save on food cost. Sink was dislodged from counter top. No strainer to let dishes dry when hand washed. There were 7 spatulas but lacked many necessities for cooking. No large pot for boiling pasta, no colander, pans in poor condition, no can opener, no vegetable peeler. Fridge , stove were great.
