The large Camps Bay beach is popular with locals and tourists alike. Nearby are also Glen Beach and the Clifton beaches. The beachfront also offers a number of great restaurants and cafes, and a supermarket.
We strongly recommend using Uber as a means of transport in Cape Town, as it is cheap, convenient and safe. Cape Town also has a reliable bus system (MyCity), as well as a fantastic hop-on hop-off red bus for tourists which is a great way to explore the city and surrounds (it has a stop in Camps Bay).
