We loved the private country setting. The house is nicely decorated with ample room to move about. The host was conveniently only a text away. Would definitely recommend a stay at this lovely place.

The house was beautiful! The property well maintained. It was a wonderful country experience where we enjoyed some family time. Close enough to enjoy the Gettysburg Remembrance Day parade and shops in town and then return for games at the dining room table and a fire outside! Highly recommend!
Fantastic property. Located centrally to everything we wanted to do yet out and away from everything. Extremely clean and comfortable. Loved, loved, loved it.

The place wasn't cleaned. Dirty dishes left in in the dishwasher. The toilets were very nasty! All we could do was wipe them down with clorox wipes. Nothing to clean the bowls with. Ants were everywhere downstairs from the kitchen to the living room. Upstairs was infested with bugs that look like lady bugs. We had to vacuum them up every night before we went to bed. The one king bed was missing sheets. We found a new set in the package. We washed them and put that on. And no hair dryer. Other than that the place was big. Internet was nice.

I have delayed writing this as I have to complain. But I want it to be helpful. When we arrived there were ants in the kitchen and lady bug/beetle carcasses in every room. We were there for about an hour when a car pulled up the drive. The next thing we knew there was a man standing in the kitchen. He passed two closed doors without knocking! Rudely said "you have to move your car. You are blocking my driveway." First, it looked like a farm path. Second, there were no signs. That left us feeling a bit uncomfortable. We did have dinner there, and it was a quiet evening. The next morning three of the four of us had a sleepless night as we itched and scratched all night. To the point of having to put t shirts over the pillow cases. Detergents?? After having lunch in Gettysburg, we decided to head home, as we were not comfortable there. I don't want this posted on VRBO as it is a beautiful location and I just want the owner to be made aware of these issues.
This was the perfect vacation spot for a family. So many rooms - so many beds and bathrooms. Everyone had privacy, yet we all had plenty of room to play. The views are incredible. The beds are comfortable. There’s even a hot tub!!!!!!! This was a wonderful surprise for our old bones that had been scrunched in a car for 3 days. We rented the place as a home base for family attending a nearby wedding. We can’t wait to come back and enjoy the house as a vacation destination. It was worth every penny. The hosts were beyond helpful and so kind. Thank you for making a crazy trip so comfortable and peaceful. We will never forget it. This will be a part of our memories and hearts forever.
