Escape to serenity at our enchanting lake cabin, perfectly situated on the shores of picturesque Lake Sabula. This charming retreat invites you to unwind and experience the beauty of nature, with endless possibilities for adventure and relaxation. Spend your days kayaking on Lake Sabula, hiking through the stunning landscapes of Mississippi Palisades State Park, or exploring the unique wonders of Maquoketa Caves State Park. Take a short drive to historic Galena for a day of shopping, antiquing, or savoring local restaurants. Inside the cabin, cozy up by the wood stove in the great room, enjoy meals in the modern kitchen and dining space, or gather in the living room for movie nights. The spacious loft and deck offer ample opportunities to relax and take in the views. After a day of exploring, unwind on the covered porch, stone patio, or gather 'round the firepit as the occasional train rolls by. adding to the cabin's rustic charm.

The property is located on a private bluff with one lane gravel road that is pictured in the listing photographs. The road is bumpy and some areas of steep grade.

Although an all wheel drive vehicle is great it is not necessary to access the property.

The Stone Bluff Cabin is beautiful inside and out! If you want a relaxing retreat to reset and recharge this is the place! We enjoyed watching the trains, eagles and the river. Sleeping accommodations were comfortable. The interior of this place is unique and gorgeous! We could tell the owners put a lot of love into this place. Just a quick drive to Savanna for lunch, antique and thrift store shopping. We cannot wait to come back!

If you like a quiet, serene place to stay with good views of water, this is a place to consider. The cabin was very clean, well accompanied with comfortable settings. We enjoyed nights around the fire and the occasional train to complete the rural setting. The only drawback to this place is the strong musty odor inside. Luckily, the temperature allowed us to keep the windows open during the stay. This property requires several large dehumidifiers to help improve the conditions caused by it's location at the base of tall bluff.
