Nice, modern home, but lacking some basic amenitiesThe house itself is nice, clean, modern, and located in a pleasant neighborhood. The owners were very responsive, replying to emails quickly, and the check-in process was simple and efficient.That said, we found the house lacking some basic amenities that would have made our stay considerably more comfortable.The mattresses are covered in plastic, which makes a noticeable squeaking sound whenever you move during the night. The bedrooms also do not have bedside tables, so phones and other personal items have to be left on the floor and out of easy reach. There are no clocks or bedside lamps in the bedrooms other than the primary bedroom. There are also no shades or blackout curtains, which made the rooms quite bright in the morning.Since we were staying there to attend a wedding, we also found the upstairs setup inconvenient. The only mirrors on the second floor are in the bathrooms, making it more difficult for several people to get ready at the same time. There are also no chairs or tables upstairs, so there is nowhere to comfortably sit or work.The kitchen is minimally equipped, and some simple basics, such as sugar, were not provided. There is a small outdoor patio, but there are no chairs, so it unfortunately isn't really usable as an outdoor sitting area.Overall, this is a nice property with a good location and very responsive owners. With some relatively simple additions it could be a much more comfortable.

We stayed at Kim’s place for the weekend as a group of three couples and a baby. The home is brand new and has such a fun living space with a spacious family room, large dining table and kitchen, and even a pool table. Kim was very helpful with providing rental companies that delivered baby gear to the house. The house is also conveniently located and we were able to get ubers to kent narrows which was only about a 10 minute drive. We loved it and will be back again!
