About this property

Key Largo, Kawama Yacht Club Newly Renovated

This is our home away from home, our little piece of paradise and dream come true. We are offering it for rent by 3 day minimum, week or month so you too can experience the "Keys Life".

This bright and airy 2 bedroom and 2 full bathroom townhouse is located in the laid back and relaxing gated community of Kawama Yacht Club in Key Largo, Florida MM 100. This unit underwent a complete renovation recently completed in July 2018. It has new porcelain floors throughout, all new furniture, new stainless steel appliances, and a spacious extended master bedroom with a king size bed catching sight of the pool and trees from the french balcony. The second bedroom has a captain's twin bed with a trundle and bunk bed that sleeps 4 . The bedrooms are both upstairs. A plasma TV in the master bedroom and family room as well as WIFI are included. Enjoy your morning coffee on the first floor outdoor screened porch or grill in the evening on your covered front porch. Relax surrounded by fresh and vibrant island decor with pool, saltwater swimming lagoon, marina, and beach steps away. A unique inlet (jetty) offers the opportunity for amazing sunset and sunrise viewing, fishing and snorkeling. There is an on-site marina with access to free boat ramp, boat trailer parking, 24 hour security, lit tennis courts, and beach side tiki's with lounge chairs. If you need a boat slip or golf cart rental let us know and we can help make the arrangements.

The unit has two adult bikes for leisurely bike rides around Kawama or down ocean bay drive. There are also two small adult kayaks and one child’s kayak to enjoy at the saltwater lagoon.

Kawama is located just two miles from John Pennekamp State Park for access to world class diving, kayaking, and snorkeling. Ideally located near attractions including Dolphin Plus to swim with dolphins, Theatre of the Sea (sealife family attraction), Fishing/Snorkeling charters, and Robbie's of Islamorada. Enjoy fresh seafood and local eats nearby at the Key Largo Fisheries, Skippers, and Snook's.

Our family enjoyed our stay during our spring break. We just love the lagoon, pools, and bike rides to watch the sun set. The condo was very clean and comfortable. The owner went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We are already planning our next trip.

Great vacation location

We had a very comfortable stay in Kawama! It was close to the marina, where the fishing boat we hired was located. We loved that it is gated. The condo was equipped with so many comforts of home, and has a washer/dryer too. Ingrid was very accessible, and made sure we had all the information we needed. We would definitely stay there again!

This is our third time visiting this vacation spot and this unit has been our favorite. The attention to details by the owner is undeniable and made us feel very welcomed. Great location and amenities

The rental was well equipped and decorated. It was also spacious and perfect for a family of 4 and even space for more. The pool and lagoon were great and enjoyed by everyone in the family. There was a nice deck to wrong around the property with cool iguanas. Our favorite was the ocean view by the marina and Adirondack chairs which was super relaxing. The owner was responsive and quick to resolve any question/issue we had. We would definitely return again.

Very clean and had everything we needed. The interior of the condo was great. Perfect for our group of 6, two adults and four grandchildren while we went to Dolphin Plus and beaches. Locations was great! Exterior of condo was messy, especially on the porch by the parking lot. Does not give a great first impression.

Nice, neat and close to everything that we needed. Great central location for fishing the upper Keys. The only issue is the loooong walk to drop the trash in the dumpsters.

We loved Kawama

My sister, her twin boys, my son, and I spent a long weekend at this property. It could not have been more perfect for us. It was easy to find, communication with the owner was easy, and the accommodations were excellent. The people are so friendly. We loved the Keys. We would do it again in a heartbeat and wish we could stay longer. Thank you for providing us the perfect place to make these memories before our boys graduate from high school in a couple of short months.

Lovely Condo in Key Largo

The property was all we expected plus more! It was a beautiful condo, very clean with many amenities. It was close to many things - easy drive time from Key West and Ft. Lauderdale plus everything in between. The condo property was clean with a lovely beach area, swimming pools and lagoon plus small beaches and lookout point, all within minutes (or seconds) walking. Very enjoyable stay - would recommend 100%!

Key Largo has always been close to our hearts since my husband and I began coming to Kawama during our college years. We finally made our dream come true and own a unit where we can snorkel, boat, fish, swim, relax and enjoy the salt life. It is a laid back and friendly community who share a love for the ocean and fresh air.

What makes this property unique

Kawama offers so many things to do all within walking distance in the community. So many options from happy hour sunsets, fishing off the jetty, night tennis, or swimming in the salt water lagoon. You will always find something to do!
