The cabin was perfect for our getaway. It looked like it was straight out of a magazine--well decorated and cozy. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen had all the essentials, some spices, and even a few emergency (unopened) cold medicines in case you needed them. The hot tub was wonderful in the evenings. We had a light drizzle the first night (which was refreshing while in the hot tub). We couldn't find the exact location when we arrived, but the host answered us back quickly and we were able to find it and check in with no problem. We would definitely stay here again.

This was an amazing cabin and we hope to go back someday. Kitchen was very well stocked, host was super responsive to questions and the hot tub was so nice to sit out in each day. Was saw deer, wild horses and elk all from the patio and the front door! King bedroom on the bottom floor has really low ceilings so if you’re over 6ft be ready to duck a bit but the room was so cozy and big that we didn’t mind at all. Beds were super comfortable and showers had great water pressure. Definitely recommend this place!

Lovely rental and the hot tub was perfect. Host is extremely responsive and helpful. Well equipped kitchen, except for coffee pods; we had 4 adults and 4 pods of regular coffee for the weekend, be sure to bring some. The creek rises rapidly with rain in the mountains, so be cautious if it's raining if you go down to the creek. Prior guests left cigarette butts outside (annoying for us all) that were not cleaned up, hence the 4 stars on cleaning.

This property has a great location, right on the river and close to town. It was nicely furnished and decorated, and the beds were comfy. Water was hot. The downstairs bedrooms had REALLY low ceilings, and I (at 5’8) had to duck while walking around. There was also cobwebs everywhere…even in the shower. My main complaint with the property was the communication (or lack thereof) with the property manager. We booked the place mostly for the hot tub, and it was too dirty and stinky to use. This was reported right away, with no resolution throughout our stay. Washing machine also did not work, with no response from manager.

We had an amazing stay at this cabin! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and offered breathtaking views that made our trip truly memorable. One of the highlights was the wildlife. Several deer came right up to the cabin during our stay, creating a unique and peaceful experience. The deer were so close and visible that people driving by actually stopped to take pictures. The location was perfect for relaxing and taking in the beauty of Ruidoso. Whether enjoying the view from the deck or simply unwinding in the quiet surroundings, this cabin provided everything we were looking for in a mountain getaway. We highly recommend this cabin and would gladly stay here again on our next trip to Ruidoso.

Please, please do not let the pictures online fool you. This house is absolutely beautiful inside. The location is quiet. The rooms in the house were clean. The hot tub was very clean and the kitchen had all the amenities that you would ever want. But the view from the back porch and the balcony to the little stream nearby was absolutely, remarkable. I posted a video showing you how peaceful the stream was. We left our bedroom door open so we could hear it all night long. There was no neighbor noise. There was no noise whatsoever except for the peace of the stream nearby and occasionally the little birds which was an added be beautiful bonus. Absolutely highly recommend this house will definitely definitely rent again.

Beautifully decorated and well appointed. Spacious for our family of four. We had a wonderful and relaxing week (despite no snow!), and this cabin was much nicer than others we’ve stayed in in the area. Kitchen was well furnished and had much nicer kitchenware and cookware than typical. Deer walked through property on a few occasions. The only area in need of updating is the mattresses, which felt old and were not comfortable to the adults in the group (kids didn’t mind). Overall a lovely place to stay with a courteous, communicative owner.
