Our stay was good for the time we had planned in NYC. The space is a good size for two. The bathroom vanity/sink area was a bit awkward to use, but for a short stay it was ok. We were told to be quiteBy a resident as we were bringing our luggage up the very narrow steps to the 2nd floor (that are very loud with every step when going up and down). Overall, it was a pleasant stay and convenient and safe area. The cleaning lady was very nice and helpful.
We enjoyed the comfort and convenience of Marlyn's studio. The pictures accurately depict a vintage style unit. Access to and from LaGuardia airport was easy, as was travel to Manhattan museums and restaurants. We found a wonderful Asian restaurant near Columbia University and a coffee shop or two nearby, all in walking distance. Whole Foods and Trader Joe's are not far. The neighborhood is vibrant, yet very quiet. It was fun to see parents walking their kids to school in the morning and a variety of dogs out for walks. Highly recommend.
Great property and great place. In Harlem and a great neighborhood. Small, but perfect for a family of 4. WiFi was an issue, but they updated wifi mid-stay.
Super cute early 1900s brownstone with beautiful interior wood details. Comfortably updated and decorated. Very clean. Instructions for entry and departure were clear. Helpful information was provided by the host regarding transportation from airports and subway. Subway with express and local routes is conveniently located just up the street.
We met the housekeeper when we arrived and she was so sweet and welcoming. The studio was also very close to all transportation so it was extremely convenient to get anywhere you needed to go!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cozy vintage studio. We hope to stay here the next time we come to NYC for theatre. The apt was spotless and very comfortable. We had every amenity we needed for our very brief stay. The location is ideal for using public transportation and it was only minutes to Time Square and great restaurants. I highly recommend this studio for anyone visiting the area.
Best place we could have stayed in. Very comfortable for a party of 3. Affordable and easy to catch a subway ride anywhere you want to go. The housekeeping was fantastic and responsive to any needs we had.
We had 4 guests in here and we loved it! The location was beautiful and very easy to access the subway to explore or the nearby park. The host was easy to communicate with and we loved the housekeeper. We felt extremely safe in this unit. You have to go through a 2 doors before you can even get to the inside. Only downside is that I am horrible at using keys and that’s how you get into the building and apartment. Also, the pull out couch was surprisingly really comfortable! Overall, very affordable and so much better than staying in a hotel. Would definitely stay again in this unit or in any of the others in the building.
