The house was amazing and so cool for the groomsmen to stay in that were from out of town, to see a piece of Mcalester History, everybody loved it!

The property is beautiful. I love historical homes. I would have loved to see the 3rd level "gun room". It was all very clean. The whole process was so easy. I liked how the suite was on the first floor, and the other rooms were on the second floor. We will be back if the need arises.

As for the "gun room," we closed off the space, because it is a little bit difficult to manage the trap door. We have considered removing the door to allow renters to access the third floor, and we may be doing that in the near future.

We were there for our son’s wedding and the house was perfect! Plenty of room for us and his groomsmen as well. Very clean and would definitely go back.

We had a great time at this beautiful home in McAlester. We loved the history of the home. Our group was 7 guys on a fishing trip - there was plenty of room for all of us and the kitchen was well stocked to make meals. I reached out to the property manager once and they were fast to respond and quickly addressed my question. Overall, great weekend. We will definitely return next summer.

There were 7 of us in our group, ranging from ages 15 months to 65 years. We all had plenty of space to spend time together, or find a quiet spot to relax. The nearby shops and the home itself felt like stepping back in time-yet with all the modern amenities and technology. This home is beautiful!

We loved our stay. Beautiful historic home. Perfect setting for our extended family gathering. Lots of spaces to sit and visit, plus a room and toys just for the kids. The house was spotless, had all of the basic necessities and a few nice extra touches, like coffee and creamer and some bottled drinks. It was very welcoming. The beds and bedding were comfortable and having a first floor bedroom was perfect for our guests that struggled with stairs. Hosts were friendly and communication was clear and prompt. We’d stay again for sure!

We were a group of 6 friends on a girls getaway. The home is lovely and the beds comfortable. There are several tables and two rooms with comfortable couches/chairs. The home is historic however the bathrooms are updated which is a plus! There is one bedroom downstairs and 3 upstairs. The hosts were very responsive and helpful when contacted. The home was clean and prepared for us when we arrived. A notebook was left giving information about the house and locations for restaurants and shops. There were a couple restaurants /shops nearby and antique stores a block away. People in these places were very friendly. This home was perfect for us …allowing old friends who live in several different states/cities to gather in a nice setting. We plan to return.

The house was beautiful, lots of space for family-friendly get togethers. Huge back yard, for maybe volleyball, croquet, loved the tv's in every bedroom and loved the 2nd living room.and the kids room, the adults enjoyed playing pool .makes you feel like your far away out in the country but you are right in town. And all the stores are near by. We will definitely be renting this again.
