My wife and I along with our puppy stayed a few days at the cottage. The host was extremely nice and the property and area were amazing. Just before sundown, we had deer and a fawn grazing around the pond. And it was nice to just sit on the porch above the pond and watch them. The cottage itself was supplied with all the little extras that you may forget. It was a great experience and we will be returning. The scenery made it one of the best places in the area to stay. We loved it and I think you will too.

To be real honest, I felt like the pictures of the pond and cabin were not up-to-date. The pond is extremely dirty, the grass needed to be mowed and the tiny cabin is cluttered. It could use a much needed make over. The coffee maker needs to be replaced due to the fact it took 45 mins for a pot of coffee and the shower water pressure was low . I picked this cabin so we could spend time fishing since we have a hot tub at home!!! We ended up shopping and hanging out in town more than relaxing at the cabin!!

Pretty place. We enjoyed. Tips: must pull out of door handle while entering door code to unlock & lock door.No (zero) internet connection is correct/but we were ok with it as it is in the description. The place was nice, quiet, recovery place to get away. The donkey & horses were beautiful. Only suggestion we would leave is a faster making coffee machine & shorter/maintenance lawn for easier walking. The hostess was quick to respond on secret to the door trick. We will return if in the area. Thanks for sharing your cottage in the pond.

Just the right amount of getaway

This little cottage on the pond was just what we needed in space, comfort, and setting. The fenced in wraparound deck over the water was a great space for our corgi to explore safely. The bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean, and Lydia was a great hostess!

A Perfect Peaceful Getaway in the Tennessee Mountains

I couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind. This charming cottage near Dollywood is the perfect peaceful escape. Nestled in the beautiful Tennessee mountains, the setting was serene, quiet, and surrounded by nature, exactly what I needed to recharge. The cottage itself was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully furnished with everything I could possibly need. From the moment I arrived, the host Lydia went above and beyond to make sure my stay was comfortable. She was incredibly attentive, kind, and responsive truly the best hospitality I’ve ever experienced.I felt so relaxed and at home that I extended my stay by an extra night and honestly, I still didn’t want to leave! If you’re looking for a relaxing, quiet retreat with a wonderful host, this is the place. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Perfect for a recently engaged couple and a dog!

It was decorated so nicely and the walk around the pond to see the donkey was nice for our pup. We have had better sleep in this cottage than any hotel we have ever stayed in. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the area and it was an easy drive to the city. Thank you Lydia for the amazing stay!

Cute/Cozy Cottage!

We loved this place! Cute & cozy cottage about 15 minutes from downtown Gatlinburg- but quiet and peaceful. The home had everything you could need, (cooking utensils, grill, bathroom ammenities, + more). The host was very kind and responsive, and the property was clean, and beautiful! Will definitely return on our next trip to the area.

Peaceful Relaxation

We loved everything about this little cottage, we literally came to get away from everything, we fished in the pond, layed in the hammock and relaxed. Lydia was great and made everything super easy. There is also a excellent italian restaurant just down the road. We will be back soon!

Cottage

The place was okay, washer didn’t work but host washed clothes complementary. The purpose of getting a place with a washer and dryer was so I would not have to do it when I got home. I felt like I’d in inconvenienced the host by telling her about it and I didn’t have them washed. The bathroom looked like it hadn’t been swept or mopped in a while. All the rugs around looked liked like they’re never moved to clean. The shower had hair on the walls and in the floor and drain from a previous tenant. Decent location could have been cleaner and broken washing machine.

The cottage was wonderful!

We had a wonderful time and the cottage is absolutely beautiful! We actually had a little excited the first night we stayed! A bear came on the deck (climbed over the rail where the flag is) and went in the trash can and got out a carton of eggs and a leftover salad someone had put in there! He didn't bother a thing other than that though! He Got whAt he came after and went on about his business! We also seen some wild turkeys and a very friendly little rabbit out In the yard! Not too much luck with the fish though....didn't even get a bite! We had a wonderful time and we would very highly recommend ur place to anyone visiting that area! Also the owners communication is excellent! Always gets back to you in a timely manner!

Not what was pictured when listing owner was accommodating!

The host question us when we arrived as to where we were staying and for how many days. She wasn’t aware we were arriving . We did arrive at 340. We were not sent any information prior to our stay no PIN code nothing about the cabin. When we arrived the grass was very over grown, the pond was very gross but that was out of there control due to flash floods. After getting the pin and going into the Cabin it was very different than the original post . No couch no table, very outdated bedding the bed Has seen it’s days very uncomfortable squeaked With every slight movement . Dead bugs under the mattress. Blinds were broke. We did request a refund from the host and she was very nice about it but kept saying she didn’t want herself or us to get In Trouble eaither for cancelling.. she tried to offer us another room in a barn behind the cabin but it was only available for one day. So please note there are several buildings on this property so if you are expecting to be alone your not!

Trip w hiccups but would return

The cabin is extremely cute and the inside was better than the pictures online. Loved the dual headed shower. The hammock was wonderful. Loved getting to hear the wildlife at night and the Dollywood train throughout the day. Had some hiccups with getting our dates changed on our reservation and ended up losing one of our nights because someone else booked one of our nights after it didn’t get straightened out. Hostess did credit for it but when traveling with a disabled person and a dog it’s a real headache to get accommodations elsewhere for one night. Also, the pics are deceiving because it looks like a gentle slope to the cabin but it’s actually kind of steep. We did better with that than expected. There is a rotted board and a soft board that needs replaced. If a chair leg hits the rotted board it’s going thru. Upon check in the door would not unlock. Text and called the landlord and was over an hour before we got a response. Before she responded we were about to give up and head out when I messed with it one more time. I was able to pull on it and it unlocked. She said it must’ve been cold or himid and was neither. If it’s a known issue it should be included in the check in info. I didn’t see it till the very end of the visit but the to do list is on the fridge of what they expect you to do before leaving. Not much at all but would’ve been nice to be aware of it as it was partially covered by something else. Loved the stay we had well enough we would reserve it again.
