Welcome to Uptown! Our recently remodeled home features two bedrooms, a living room with plenty of seating, a fully-equipped kitchen, WiFi, Smart TV's, driveway parking, and self check-in! You'll be less than 10 minutes from the Superdome & Smoothie King Center, 3 miles from the French Quarter, and located near tons of restaurants & shopping. Uptown is a great option for those wanting to get away from the hustle & bustle of the main part of the city, while still being conveniently located!
Please note that this home is a duplex, and the other half of the house has a family of long-term tenants.
Our two bedroom home has been stocked with everything you'll need during your stay. Located in the Uptown area of New Orleans, you'll be in a convenient location, minutes away from popular attractions, and a myriad of shops and restaurants.
You'll also have access to off-street parking in the driveway, but there's plenty of free street parking available for any additional vehicles.

Per local requirements: This home is not ADA-compliant. While this home is a single level house, there are a few steps to climb from ground level to access. There is a noise-monitoring device inside the home (as required by law) that measures the sound levels to ensure guests are not disturbing neighbors.

*Freret Street between Napolean and Jefferson Avenues is our neighborhood go-to for local restaurants, casual eateries, cocktails, and delicious things (gelato! bagels!) Be sure to check it out if you are unfamiliar with this area or haven't been to New Orleans in awhile.
New Orleans is a small city, so getting around is not difficult. If you bring a car, there are two spaces in the driveway for off-street parking, and there is plenty of street parking in our neighborhood for any additional vehicles.
For public transportation, there is a bus stop a block away at S. Clairborne & General Pershing.
Taxis and ride shares like Lyft & Uber are the best options for getting around if you don’t bring a car.
Absolutely no parties, please. Our home is not baby-proofed, so please use discretion when traveling with smaller children.
New Orleans is prone to hurricanes and other storms/severe weather, sometimes outside of the normal season. Please note that we do not move, cancel, or provide refunds or credits for any reason, including COVID, road conditions/closures, travel cancellations, and weather conditions. If you think you may need to cancel for any reason, we HIGHLY SUGGEST that you purchase trip insurance or book closer to your travel dates.
**There is a $200 security/damage deposit collected 3 days prior to arrival, and returned shortly after your stay. This is done as a $200 hold on your method of payment, not a full charge. Please see the rental agreement (required to be read and signed before booking) for more details. *** Please carefully read our house rules below
1. The booking guest must have their ID uploaded to their profile. Please do not remove your ID from your profile at any point during the booking process, or your visit. This will trigger automatic cancellation of your reservation.
2. Please be mindful of the neighbors sleeping. We recommend being quiet after 8:30pm (weekdays including Sundays) and 9:00pm (weekends).
3. While early check-in / late checkout may be available, this must be arranged ahead of time for an extra fee. Unauthorized Late checkouts are a $50 charge for each hour after 11am - a 15 minute grace period is given. Late checkouts MUST be requested before 9PM the day before your departure.
4. Clean towels are a provided amenity. Plan ahead while packing, please bring extra towels if you or any of your guests anticipate needing more.
5. Smoking & vaping in the unit will result in a $500 deodorization fee. Please smoke outside of the property.
6. Unregistered guests and parties are prohibited by local laws and ILLEGAL. Our occupancy limits are set by local ordinance. Any guest found to have had a party or over-occupancy will be charged a $1,000 fee for non-compliance with local laws. All rental platforms specifically ban parties from their units. Violation of this rule will result in immediate eviction and a ban from the platform.
7. Please do not hang or attach anything to the walls with push pins, tape, etc. or other painted surfaces.
8. Please do not use face towels to remove makeup, it damages the towels. Makeup towels are provided for you.
9. If the space is left excessively dirty, $50 will be charged for each additional hour of cleaning required. Removal of bodily fluids will result in a charge of $150. Glitter cleanup will result in a charge of $100.
10. This home does not allow pets. Unauthorized pets will result in an additional $250 fine.
11. After you’ve read these rules, please send me a message with the words “yellow kangaroo”, it will let me know that you have read the rules thoroughly.
12. Unfortunately, we cannot accept bookings from “Locals” at this time. Locals is meant to include anyone residing within 60 miles of New Orleans.
13. While we cannot receive any mail or packages to the space we will assist with getting packages shipped to New Orleans if needed.
14. Commercial video and photo shoots are strictly forbidden without prior and authorized consent. Associated day-rate fees, liability waivers and copyright contracts will apply if consent is given.
15. Message us for long term stays.
16. All of our TV's are streaming, we do not provide any account information, you will have to log into your own. Please remember to log out at check out. There is also cable TV, but it's only for local channels.
17. Should you wish to receive an early check-in or late check-out, please let us know no earlier than a few days prior to your reservation date, and we will determine if it's possible. We are unable to confirm early check-in (or late check-out) requests for future dates. We require time to prepare the unit for your stay or after your stay for the next guest and sometimes we are unable to accommodate. If we can accommodate, we will charge $25/hour for the additional booking time. This will also be in place for dropping luggage off or leaving your luggage after checkout time has passed. Payment will be requested through the platform after your additional time has been approved.
