Great place to stay

We loved our weekend getaway to this super cute cabin! It was decorated beautifully and very clean. The host was great and left smores and snacks. I would definitely recommend staying here!

We loved our stay here, lots of room and cery cozy. Fire pit outside was amazing. Deck area was great for grilling and hanging out. Host was a great communicator and they left us s’mores, treats and wine. Thank you so much

If you’re looking for a cabin decorated like a Bass Pro Shop threw up—moose heads, canoe paddles, inspirational quotes about fishing—this is not your place. This cabin has whimsy. Actual whimsy. The kind of décor that makes you say, “Oh wow, someone cared,” instead of, “Ah yes, another wooden sign that says Live Laugh Lodge.” The creature comforts? Unhinged levels of thoughtful. Makeup washcloths. Coffee. Snacks. Things I didn’t know I needed until they were already in my hand. I could have stayed here for a month and become a full‑time Idaho forest witch. We had one tiny snafu with the air‑conditioner power strip tripping, but we solved it like the competent, capable women we pretend to be. Kevin, the host, was absurdly responsive—truly a saint for how many times I bugged him. If there were a “Host of the Year” award, I would nominate him and then aggressively campaign. The deck? Peak serotonin. Morning wildlife watching. Evening wildlife watching. Midday wildlife judging. All of it perfect. Our late‑night karaoke didn’t seem to bother the neighbors, which is honestly the biggest miracle of the entire trip. If anything, the wildlife probably enjoyed our rendition of Friends in Low Places. When I think of getting away now, I think of this little slice of Garden Valley paradise. We didn't want to leave! 10/10. Highly recommend. Would move in permanently if Kevin would let us.

Comfortable and beautifully appointed. Fully stocked with extra towels for heading to the river or pool, a variety of games, k-cups and even everything you need for S’mores. Fans and AC units placed thoughtfully around the cabin kept us comfortable in our July visit. The one issue was the gas grill, which needs to be checked/cleaned: When we visited, the grill flames flared up - it was unsettling so we cooked the burgers on the stove top that night. The host is responsive and the location is probably just right - not in town but close to town.

The cabin was perfect! There were 6 of us and we had plenty of room. Very comfortable family room for hanging out. Kitchen stocked well. I asked Kevin if they had an iron & board (we were there for a wedding & needed some touch ups) he said they didn’t , but the next morning, they were both delivered to the front door. Kevin is a fantastic host. We would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable beds, quality furniture, beautiful kitchen, nice accommodations and very clean. It is dark inside, darker than we are used to. It was very warm inside. Screens were missing on windows so we couldn't open them to cool things down.
