the neighbors are a bit loud- but then we were on yoga/meditation retreat and got to practice tree felling meditation. The land is very well cared for and so many places to sit out of doors and enjoy all the wild life.

Hi Eliah: Thanks for the nice review. I'll need to learn about tree felling meditation! Our neighbors are 3-8 acres apart - but we have a new neighbor just building her home. I'm so sorry that it was noisy at times...sound does carry through that draw where the creek and canal run. You left the cabin in lovely shape. Cheers
This place is so lovely! The view from the back balcony is beautiful. The sounds of birdsong and crickets are ever-present, along with the babbling brook. We enjoyed roasting dinner and making s'mores over the fire in the back, soaking in the hot tub, and playing games together as a family. The owner was very responsive with any questions that came up, and the house was clean and well-organized. There is a binder with ideas for local activities that I wished I had looked through more thoroughly sooner. The grill didn't seem to be in great shape though. We had a lovely vacation. Thank you!

A wonderful getaway
This cabin was ideal for our family, kids and grandkids, as we attended an extended family reunion in nearby Garden Valley. All the amenities were appreciated. The AC worked well. The grandkids loved the deck, the yard, the creek, the firepit and the hot tub. One note for improvement. When we arrived we wanted to BBQ for dinner. We were surprised not only to find the grill very dirty, but there were three cooked hot dogs still sitting on the grill. After taking some time to clean the grill, we proceeded with our BBQ. Maybe something you might want to mention to your cleaners. But other than that, we found the cabin clean and comfortable.

Beautiful Garden Valley Cabin
We absolutely love this cabin. It fit our family perfectly. We have 4 small children and many cabins that we have stayed in are not very kid friendly. I am glad to say that it was not the case with this cabin. With such features as build in baby gates, a sand box, bunk beds with a slide, air hockey table and a room full of toys, our kids were plenty happy. The condition of the cabin was great. Everything worked perfectly, the cabin was immaculate and the hot tub was a bonus. The only thing we would have preferred is access to the the pantry and closets for storage of our stuff. The view of the mountains and of Alder Creek was breathtaking. We walked the Creek side trail every day. It is a beautiful cabin with plenty to do for the entire family. We have already began looking when we can make it back

Glad you had such a nice time. We do lock our personal things in the pantry and basement...but will try to make more storage space available in the future. Thanks for the tip.
We have stayed at this fabulous property before; love it more each time. House is huge, great for families and kids...hot tub, birding (lots of hummingbirds!), lovely creek on the property, great rivers nearby; too much to list.
We had a totally awesome stay.
More then I had hoped for, beautiful home. When booking I was looking for access to outdoor activities, it was perfect, grandchildren still talking about the stay.
Such a beautiful and perfect cabin for our family to celebrate our son’s 12th birthday! The boys all had a blast playing in the snow and building snow huts behind the cabin, movies and games, and the kitchen was perfect for mom and dad to keep the crew happy! The hot tub was an extra special treat for us all. The hosts of this cabin were awesome to work with before we arrived and while we were staying. Responsive and thoughtful. We hope to stay here again sometime this summer.
From the well organized check In process to the excellent communication from the owner this could not have been a better experience. The place was beautiful, scenery was beautiful, we will definitely be back!

It was a great place to stay with kids. We enjoyed that you could sled right outside and than take a break in the beautiful cabin. We enjoyed our short getaway.
We had a lovely holiday at this property. The hot tub was perfect for relaxing after a day of snowshoeing in the area, followed by a cozy fire and movies. It was a quiet neighborhood and even though there were just two of us there is plenty of space in this house for even a large family. A wonderful wrap-around porch that overlooks woods and creek made for a perfect morning coffee spot.
This location was perfect. Offered privacy, trees, wildlife & views yet was close to town, Terrace Lakes etc. We loved playing in the little creek, doing morning nature walks along the walking trails, having a bonfire in the evenings and dinner on the patio. The home is spacious and the layout worked well for us! We can't wait to come visit again! Thanks for such a great getaway!
We rented this house for an extended family weekend getaway and were not disappointed. The house has plenty of room, provides everything needed and is beautiful inside and out. The kids loved playing air hockey, swinging in the hammock chair and wandering around the property and the rest of us enjoyed it all with them. A great place to unwind, take in the beautiful surroundings and just enjoy life. The owners were also extremely prompt in communicating with us and were very helpful in answering any questions we might have or offering suggestions. We will be back!
This cabin was located in such a beautiful location and offered so much! It was clean and gorgeous! We felt at home the instant we walked in. There was so much room and so many fun things to do - a fire pit, a hot tub, volleyball, tether ball, and to top it off, it was a great place for a photo shoot which I did for my daughter and granddaughter by the creek that runs behind the cabin. We absolutely loved our stay and our host was amazing and very responsive to any questions I had prior to our trip. LOVED IT ALL!!
We had a wonderful time at this cabin. Dawna was very accommodating when we wanted to extend our stay. Great location next to Alder Creek, and the Payette River. We hope to come back!
This property is in a very secluded location, is very well equipped and seems like walking into a home that is occupied full time. Our two day stay was very pleasant while we attended and officiated a wedding. The only negative comments we can make would be that the downstairs beds were too soft for our party. The second bedroom downstairs with the memory foam topper was far too soft for the occupants and the master bedroom foam mattress was also a bit too soft. It should be noted that the sink in the downstairs bathroom drains very slowly and the trap may need to be cleaned. Overall the property offers a great view, beautiful exterior and interior, comes complete with every amenity you might need for a short or long stay and is very close to Crouch and local restaurants and stores(only a 10 minute drive). It would rate 5 stars from us if it were not for the too soft beds and the poor drain in the master bath sink.

Hi David: Glad you had a good time at our family cabin. We really appreciate your feedback. I will let purple mattress company know, as just two weeks ago I purchased an $1800 purple mattress for our guests for that room. Glad your other guest took off the foam topper if it wasn't to their liking. I've had the plumber out to check the drain which is fine -it is the darn design of those fancy sinks - perhaps we can drill larger holes. We'll keep this all in mind.
