Please Note: The Villages of Wisp is a quiet family-oriented townhouse community located on the WISP ski slopes. Parking spaces are limited to a maximum of TWO (2) vehicles per unit. No exceptions. No trailers, RVs, boats, personal water vessels or buses permitted in the designated parking areas. Failure to abide by this rule may result in towing. Quiet Time begins at 11:00 pm to 8:00 am and includes turning off exterior flood and cafe lights.
This home comes with free access to the Community Aquatic Recreation Center (CARC)! This fitness and wellness complex, located in the central Deep Creek Lake area, offers a modern gym and a full-size indoor pool. The free CARC membership is available to all guests in the home for the duration of your stay, up to the home’s full occupancy.

We had the most enjoyable long weekend!! Three adults, three teenagers, one dog. Plenty of room for all to be together and also to be apart. Hot tub was great to come back to after skiing and tubing. Kitchen was well stocked with anything one might need to make a meal. Technically this place is ski in/ski out but it leads to a black diamond. We easily just drove a very short distance to Wisp and everyone got to where they wanted to go. Beautiful scenery, beds comfortable, linens fresh, sparkling clean rooms! Would most definitely return!

Our group of four was initially excited to book this property based on the photos and the advertised ski-in/ski-out access, working hot tub, and clean accommodations. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing and the management company lacked transparency and communication.While en route, we were notified at check-in time that the hot tub was not working, despite management admitting they had known about the issue for two days. No alternative accommodations or partial refund were offered.Upon arrival, there was a strong smell of sewage coming from the basement laundry room. We also discovered the heat was not functioning properly, leaving the main living area uncomfortably cold and largely unusable. The host was notified, and the heat was not repaired until the following day. Maintenance acknowledged the heating issue but denied the odor, which persisted.Additionally, the furniture was not clean. The couches had visible stains and several cushions showed burn marks.This property is NOT ski-in/ski-out as advertised. The nearest lift is about a half-mile walk, and the closest trail is a black diamond. Beginners will need to drive to the resort, and even experienced skiers must walk uphill on a concrete road to access the trail on concrete.We requested a refund due to the heat issue, unusable hot tub, and odor, but the host delayed responding for over two weeks. We escalated through VRBO with no resolution.

Our team did address the problem as quickly as possible, but we are sorry the main living area was uncomfortable during that time. We have since followed up to ensure the system is fully functioning. We also revisited the concerns about odor and cleanliness with our housekeeping teams. In terms of ski access, we understand that expectations can vary. While the home is located within close proximity to the slopes, access can depend on trail conditions and ability level.
