Casa Nicolau is the perfect home for a relaxing holiday in Portugal's stunning Silver coast. This well equipped and beautifully decorated 3 bedroom and 3 bath townhouse is located in the private, gated community of Vila dos Principes in Portugal's famous Praia D'el Rey Golf and Beach Resort, only a one hour drive from Lisbon.

Positioned at the end of a cul de sac and backing on to a forested hill and the world class golf course, Casa Nicolau offers a private retreat only steps away from one of 3 heated swimming pools, and is within walking distance to the golf club, the Marriott Hotel and secluded, pristine beaches.

The home's master bedroom has a comfortable queen sized bed, full ensuite bathroom and its own private terrace. The second large bedroom has 2 twin beds, an ensuite bathroom and a balcony overlooking the secluded garden. Casa Nicolau's bright and sunny third bedroom has 2 twin beds and French doors for direct access to the garden. A full bathroom with shower is conveniently located next to this room.

Through the modern and fully equipped kitchen there is direct access to the outside patio and grill. The kitchen has all the conveniences needed for a comfortable stay including dishwasher, built in oven, cooktop, microwave, coffee maker and kettle, dishes and utensils, iron and ironing board and clothes washer and dryer. The dining and living area is bright and airy with views of the pine forest. This area is the perfect central room for your holiday and is equipped with large sofas, satellite TV, stereo, wifi and a beautiful wood burning fireplace.

The resort itself is on a world class golf course with stunning views of sandy beaches. Within the resort is the 5* Marriott Hotel, restaurants, lounges health club, spa and tennis courts. Guests are encouraged to take advantage of the resort's Club Aventura for child minding services, bike rentals surf lessons, a game room for children, as well planned excursions.

Casa Nicolau is located near major towns including Obidos, Caldas Da Rainha, Baleal, Peniche and Nazare, as well as many restaurants, a mini super market on the resort and additional markets nearby. The area is also home to some of Europe's best surfing, beachside towns and countless beautiful medieval monasteries and castles.

To make your stay more comfortable, a scheduled maid service is available upon request. A knowledgeable property manager will assist you throughout your stay.

The property was excellent being very well prepared. All rooms were setup as requested and the welcome pack was really lovely. The whole family had a fantastic stay and I could not recommend this property any more highly. It is secure, clean, fully kitted out and has a lovely south facing private sun area.

The house was perfect for a family with teenagers who need their own space and privacy. The location of the property within the resort was very quite and convenient close to two swimming pools. The owner Rob gave us so many valuable tips concerning beaches and good restaurants. The communication with him and the property management was excellent! Perfect stay

The property is as advertised. The beds were comfy, the kitchen very well stocked for cooking. We had stayed in this section of the resort in other houses, but this house just had the perfect direction regarding the sun. The owner Rob was very responsive and even left us his Apple TV box so we could enjoy our Rugby Worldcup games! We enjoyed our stay very much and will return!

Lovely house for a relaxing holiday

I stayed at this property for 5 nights with my husband, our toddler, and my parents. The house was as described and I really liked how each double bedroom had an ensuite bathroom - it meant we had lots of privacy and each couple had their own space. The garden was great for our son to crawl around in the grass. The kitchen was well-equipped so we could make our own breakfast and lunch, and for dinner it was possible to get food delivered from local restaurants while our son slept. There are also some nice restaurants in the area. Jogging along the nearby beach in the morning was incredible - small cliffs on one side with waves crashing on the other, and very isolated and peaceful. The best part was the host - Rob was very responsive and friendly, and gave us some great ideas and suggestions for the area. Also, the property manager was equally helpful and friendly. She waited at the gates of the resort for us to arrive and really made me feel that it was no trouble at all. We didn't use the pools as the weather was a little cool, but there was a playground nearby that we used.

Wonderful townhouse in a beautiful location

Very nice and well equipped house within the golf resort. Perfect to have a nice stay at the silver coast with a lot of amenities. The agency on site is very friendly and helpful, gives you a lot of tips. Also Rob, the owner, really takes care and gives you so much information and tips about the area. We really enjoyed the holidays with our two children and felt to be in good hands.

Lovely family holiday

This is a very comfortable house for a family with a pretty grassy area at the back of the house. Great bbq and outside eating space. The property is situated in the nicest and most attractive part of the golf resort - easy walk to the clubhouse for snacks and light meals and a 15 minute walk down to the Marriott hotel. Rob, the owner couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful so thank you!

Beautiful sunny well situated townhouse

We had an exceptional stay at this townhouse on Praia D’el Rey. The house is bright and spacious, with a private south facing patio. It is well equipped and comfortably furnished. Internet and TV worked flawlessly. Checking in and out was welcoming and effortless. Most importantly, the townhouse is perfectly located within Praia D’el Rey, in a gated community five minutes walk to the Golf Club and Driving Range. An easy walk to the Hotel with its Spa, Gym and beach. Praia D’el Rey is a fabulous community. It is well known as one of the premier golf destinations in Portugal with four golf courses within ten minutes drive, but there is so much more. The sea is all around you. There is easy access to Peniche (a major surfing destination), Obidos and the sea resorts further up the coast. All of which are worth visiting for their charm, history and inexpensive Portuguese restaurants with a wide variety of fresh fish. An absolutely wonderful holiday on The Silver Coast. I can’t wait to come back.

Delightful stay

This property was wonderful....very clean and well equipped. The kitchen had everything that was needed. Fresh towels were replaced. The back yard was such an inviting place to relax after a day of sightseeing. We would highly recommend this property for future stays in the area, especially if you love the beach, like to golf or just want to explore Portugal’s Silver Coast.

Casa Nicolau is a lovely, relaxing, and private retreat surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens and trails. The house is bright and spacious, beautifully decorated and well equipped. The home also has an excellent backyard, perfect for outdoor dining and lounging and is only steps away from the pools.

What makes this property unique

The local area is simply stunning and ideal for a holiday. The Praia D'el Rey Resort is a very easy, low stress drive from Lisbon International Airport.
The area has the benefit of being quite and relaxing, but also has many activities to choose from. The golf, in particular, is world class.
