Secretariat Twin Spries Suite!!! 1 Bedroom 1 Bath Suite with 2 hideaway bed couchs.  Completely updated and is in great condition.   There is a game machine that has first and 2nd generation video games!    Large shared balcony.  Sleeps 6! Washer and Dryer! Full kitchen. Location is walking distance from nightlife in downtown Jeffersonville. 10 Min to Louisville Airport. 10 min from churchill downs.

A wonderful place in a wonderful location. Walking distance to almost everything. Host was extremely helpful and made our stay unforgettable. The unit itself is very nice with easy access in and out. Lots of parking in the back. I would definitely recommend.

The secretariat suite was perfect for our stay. The little community had several places to eat and drink within walking distance, and although we were in town for a music festival across the bridge it was really nice to be able to walk down and grab a snack. The suite it self had everything we needed. Communication with the host was quick and concise. We’d def stay here again.

We were in town for a volleyball tournament in downtown Louisville. Secretariat is located in a very convenient location to downtown Louisville. It only took 5-6 minutes to drive to the convention center. The local area of Jeffersonville is walkable to many restaurants, coffee shops, breweries, etc. We enjoyed walking over the Big Four bridge to Louisville as well. The waterfront area on the Kentucky side had parks for our kids to play in and we were able to walk to the downtown area. It takes about 40-45 minutes to walk from Secretariat to downtown Louisville. The accommodations worked well for a place to crash for the 6 of us. It was quiet and cozy. You will have to move the couches around a bit to get both pullouts out, but it wasn't difficult to do. The kids also loved the video games. We enjoyed our dinner at Harry's Taphouse down by the river. We also ate at Doc Crow's downtown Louisville and it was amazing. We would stay here again when we are back in town. Great value for the location and proximity to downtown.

Bathroom door is a sliding barn type door that doesn’t full close so there’s little privacy there. Main issue was the attitude of the owner. Didn’t pick up calls for about an hour as we were locked out as he gave us the wrong code for the door. When he finally picked up he sounded extremely annoyed that we called. I kept a friendly voice but there was just poor tone when speaking to me about being locked out. Didn’t talk to him after. No major issues but I was really thrown off by it.

This building was my mortgage company office since 2007 on bottom floor and has monthly rentals upstairs that we turned into short term rentals

What makes this property unique

The horse themes are one big thing that is unique! The barrell game machine is fun to play! The property is close to Louisville and just 10 min from Churchill Downs!! There is also security cameras covering all exterior views on the property for security!
