About the host
Your host
Welcome to our tranquil getaway! I'm Jim, and alongside my lovely wife Julie, we extend a warm welcome to you. As a veteran and cattle rancher, I bring a strong sense of commitment and a deep appreciation for nature. Julie, with her innate sense of warmth and hospitality, adds an extra touch of coziness to our haven. We met in college, fell head over heels in love, and built a wonderful life together. Our two sons are growing up way too fast, which makes us cherish every moment and every opportunity to share our love for this incredible area. So come on over and let us, Jim and Julie, be your hosts at On The Rocks. We're here to ensure your stay is filled with the perfect blend of comfort, relaxation, and heartfelt hospitality.
Why they chose this property
On The Rocks is built for how groups actually vacation. The open living area keeps everyone connected, while multiple bedrooms and a second living space let guests spread out comfortably. The hot tub, gas firepit patio, and game room make evenings just as fun as the days spent exploring the Black Hills.
Located in Powder House Pass, you’re one minute from trail systems and just minutes from Terry Peak, Deadwood, and Spearfish Canyon.
