About this property

Cabin · Hot Tub · Arcade · Trails · Sleeps 16

The Black Hills summer runs hard — ATV trails right out the driveway, a community pool five minutes on foot, and Deadwood fifteen minutes by truck. At On The Rocks, your group gets a 5-bedroom cabin that sleeps 16, a private hot tub, a 64-game arcade room, and a covered deck built for long evenings with the gas firepit going. Spearfish Canyon, Custer State Park, and Mount Rushmore are all under an hour out.

ABOUT THIS SPACE

On The Rocks is a custom 5-bedroom, 3-bath cabin sleeping 16 in Powder House Pass — a gated mountain neighborhood above Lead, SD with views of Terry Peak and direct trail access right from the driveway.

The main floor is where the group comes together. An open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area is built for large groups: gas range, granite island with bar seating, full appliances (air fryer, Ninja blender, waffle maker, crockpots), and enough space to cook for 16 without chaos. The dining table seats 14 and opens to the upper deck. The living room centers on a gas fireplace and large smart TV — where everyone ends up after a day on the trails.

Step out to the covered upper deck: BBQ grill, outdoor dining, and ridgeline views with Terry Peak in frame at golden hour.

The lower level is the activity floor. A 64-game arcade table, air hockey, second TV, electric fireplace, and walkout patio connect to the private hot tub, gas firepit, and covered outdoor lounge — perfect after a long trail day.

Five bedrooms: main floor king ensuite (walk-in shower, granite vanity, closet); second floor queen; bunk room (queen + twin bunks, sleeps 4); lower queen; lower family room (queen + twin bunks, sleeps 4). Three full bathrooms. Attached garage for ATVs, bikes, and gear plus a bonus fridge. Pull-through circular driveway. Washer/dryer. High-speed Wi-Fi. High chair, pack-n-play, baby monitor included.

LOCATION & WHAT'S NEARBY

WHO THIS HOME IS BEST FOR

Families with kids: Five bedrooms give parents their own space while kids take the bunks. High chair, pack-n-play, baby monitor, a game room that runs itself for hours, and a community pool the kids will disappear into all afternoon.

ATV and trail riding crews: Ride straight from the driveway into Black Hills National Forest. Garage handles ATVs and gear; hot tub handles the evening after a long day out; pull-through driveway fits any trailer rig without backing.

Multi-family summer groups: The open main floor keeps everyone together for meals and evenings; five bedrooms across two levels give each family their own private corner. Community clubhouse adds a second kitchen and lounge when the cabin feels full.

Reunion and celebration groups: Milestone birthdays, graduation trips, annual family weekends. Sixteen guests, two fire areas, community pool, a BBQ deck built for real group meals.

Hikers and outdoor explorers: Spearfish Canyon, Custer State Park, and Black Hills National Forest are all within an hour. This is a real base camp — not just a place to sleep.

GUEST ACCESS

The entire cabin is yours for your stay — no shared spaces with the host. Self check-in via a unique keypad code sent before arrival, changed after every guest. All five bedrooms, bathrooms, the game room, garage, and outdoor spaces are fully yours. Community clubhouse access — heated pool, lounge, kitchen, and game room — is included with every stay.

PARKING

The circular pull-through driveway was built for groups arriving with gear. Trucks pulling ATV or snowmobile trailers pull straight in and out — no backing, no tight turns. Multiple slots fit large groups in separate vehicles. Attached garage provides covered storage for ATVs, bikes, and equipment plus a bonus fridge. No permits, no restrictions, no size limits.
