The entire property was amazing! The cabin itself was clean, mountain chic and modern, very comfortable for our party of 22. Plenty of room for everyone. We all enjoyed spending evenings by the gas fireplace and watched the kids in the pool or enjoyed the hot tub. Close to downtown and just a short drive to the Smokey Mtn NP and Gatlinburg. The common area pool resort was so fun for the kids. They enjoyed movie nights, lounging around the lazy river, played pool, ping pong, miniature golf pickleball. Overall a great stay, no need to look any further, the has everything you need and more! Host instructions for check in were also very easy and had no issues.
Kim was amazing to work with. Answered all my questions and was extremely responsive. The property exceeded our expectations! Beautiful property. My family had a great time.
I booked this listing for our annual girls' getaway. This is by far the best rental I have every booked. Communication with the host was easy and response times were quick. The property was simply beautiful and exceeded our expectations. All the amenities listed were clean and in excellent working condition. The coffee bar and popcorn in the movie room were appreciated additions. In addition to the house and on-site property amenities, we appreciated how close the property was to the area attractions. My friends have already decided that we will visit again next year.
My family was here for graduation we had a remarkable time. The property was clean, spacious, and full of things to do inside the house and on property. The host was helpful and was a pleasure to work with. Will be booking again if return!
The house was absolutely beautiful! We had 17 people staying there and had plenty of space. Grandkids ranging from 3-19 and there was something for everyone! Bunk room was so fun - video games, tvs, racing game, etc. Community pool area was beautiful and oldest kids loved hanging out there playing pickleball. Pools were kept at a good temp and everyone enjoyed the lazy river and lounge chairs in the community pool. Pool and hot tub at the house were perfect to enjoy as a family as well. House was well stocked with towels, dinnerware etc. We would leave early in the morning to take hikes - most of which were an hour or less away and then spend our afternoons enjoying the home. We had the best time and would absolutely go back!
This property and amenities were amazing. Everything was very well thought out and top of the line. Extremely clean. Conveniently located. So much to do and not enough time to do it all. We definitely will come back and recommend this resort.
I am writing to share how much we absolutely loved our stay at Bear Cub Manor. This accommodation was truly mind-blowing, and the host went above and beyond to make our experience special. We have already started planning another visit for 2026!The home was perfect for both the kids and the adults. We spent a lot of time at the cabin enjoying the movie room, pool, and hot tub. The younger children loved the amenities and games, and we particularly enjoyed gathering at the big table each night to play Uno until we couldn't keep our eyes open anymore. We all slept amazingly well, as the beds were exceptional. We also appreciated the fully stocked kitchen and the coffee bar, which was a dream and had everything we could think of.Since it was 73 degrees during our December stay, we were able to take full advantage of the pool, lazy river, cornhole boards, and pool table. It was unexpected for the time of year but so much fun to use those outdoor amenities. We absolutely LOVED this vacation spot and will be spreading the news about this amazing getaway.
I rarely write reviews but cabin is the best cabin I have ever stayed in. It is truly amazing. It has everything you need to enjoy your stay. The pool, games, hot tub, TVs etc were so fun and easy to use. The cabin came fully stocked with plenty of extra supplies so we did not have to worry about packing too much or running out. The cabin was also extremely clean with so much attention to every detail. In addition to all of these benefits, this was one of the best hosts I have ever worked with. I really appreciated the attentiveness and quick responses whenever we had questions. I was also pleasantly surprised to see how close the cabin was to the parkway. It was literally a 2 min drive out of the cabin to be at all the restaurants and activities that Pigeon Forge and Sevierville has to offer. The listing said about 10 miles from Gatlinburg but I would say more like 3-4. You cannot find a better location! There are so many cabins to choose from in the area and it can be overwhelming with all the options but look no further. Trust me when I say you will not find better; this is the place to be. Do not pass up the chance to stay here if you are visiting gatlinburg, pigeon forge, or Sevierville.
We had 13 adults. The property was very clean. We had 4 trash bins on the outside and parked 3 vehicles. The property was well stocked with coffee, crockpot, air fryer and all kitchen supplies. The lazy river was not crowded and was relaxing on our down day. There are lots of places to relax and sit at the pool. They also had a put putt area and pickle ball area. I’m very picky about clean beds and bedding. The beds were very comfortable and the linens felt new. One suggestion would be to purchase a small step stool if you have littles or elderly. The beds do sit very high. The outside furniture is also very comfortable with lots of room to gather and hang out. Our older teens loved the movie theater room and watched basketball games and movies together there. They also enjoyed the hot tub at night. Our location was perfect. We went horseback riding, did the mountain coasters, golfed, shopped the outlets, all without leaving the area. We also did a lot in Pigeon Forge, it was only about 10 minutes away. We had a great experience
Absolutely perfect stay at Bear Cub Manor! Our family stayed at Bear Cub Manor last weekend, and it was truly one of the best cabin experiences we’ve ever had. The cabin was super clean, beautifully decorated, and matched the photos exactly. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and we appreciated that all linens were provided—including towels for the heated indoor private pool, which was such a nice touch. There was so much for everyone to enjoy—hot tub, fireplace, media room, games, beverage coolers in both the media and game rooms, and even an ice maker. The kids were over the moon about the TVs at each bunk bed—such a fun and thoughtful feature! It’s also pet-friendly, which meant our whole family could be together.Kim was an amazing host from start to finish. She responded quickly to every question and went above and beyond when a snowstorm hit during our stay. We were worried about getting out safely, and she kindly offered a super late check-out and even a very discounted extra night if we needed it. That level of care and flexibility meant so much to us!The location was perfect—close to the parkway, which made getting out easier even with the snow. We honestly didn’t mind being “snowed in” at such a cozy, well-equipped cabin. And the fully stocked coffee bar with specialty syrups was the cherry on top! We’ve stayed in many rentals, but we’ve never experienced one with so many thoughtful extras. Bear Cub Manor felt like a true home away from home, and we can’t r
