Great location as it pertains to close proximity of restaurants and other gathering spaces, such as the amphitheater downtown. The pictures are a little deceiving as they make the house look much newer than it is. The upstairs bathroom is lacking in table top space for toiletries, and there were exposed wires (albeit out of reach !) in one of the bedroom ceilings from where a smoke detector should be. All that said, the house was clean, in a mostly quiet, family dominated neighborhood, and was a decent value for the price. The Host was also a solid communicator, which is always a plus!

We loved this cozy home! Everything was spotless. The beds were so comfortable. The kitchen was a really nice size. The bedrooms were a great size. We will for sure stay here again the next time we are in Piqua!!

The house is clean, cute and a great cost saving alternative to a hotel. It is older but the pictures are accurate. My problem is half way into our stay the hot water quit working. We confirmed there was no pilot light and no breakers had tripped. I let them know and they said they would get it fixed - but they didn’t. When I followed up they said it was the city’s fault, and we all know that’s not how hot water works.

We were extremely disappointed with this property and ultimately could not stay. Upon arrival, we noticed a very strong odor throughout the home that smelled like mold and mildew. We also found several cleanliness and maintenance concerns that, in our opinion, were not reflected in the listing photos, including gaps in the trim and flooring, dirty or poorly maintained walls, and an unpleasant odor coming from the upstairs staircase.The most concerning issue was the bedroom where my pregnant daughter and her one-year-old child were supposed to sleep. We found several spiders in the room, and within minutes my daughter began feeling stuffy and uncomfortable. Given her pregnancy and the fact that we had a young child with us, we did not feel comfortable taking any chances with their health or safety, so we made the difficult decision to leave.We had to find alternative lodging at the last minute, which resulted in additional unexpected expenses and significant stress, especially since we were in town for a wedding the following day. We immediately contacted the host and then Vrbo and requested a full refund, but we have not received one. We understand that Vrbo is investigating and that the host may conduct testing. We are simply reporting what we personally experienced during our brief time at the property.Unfortunately, based on the condition, odor, cleanliness concerns, and overall experience, we cannot recommend this property to other guests.
