This was a fun place for a mother/daughter getaway. Close to Manhattan, the Eisenhower Presidential Library, and the Wamego Tulip Festival, but a rural setting with history, which we love.

This was such a cool, unique stay! This was just a solo stay, but there were tons of things available to do (board games, video games, etc).

The property is in a beautiful, rustic location with horses, chickens, & kitties just next door. The schoolhouse is a unique, one of a kind place to stay. Our kiddos truly enjoyed playing the games provided and getting to pet the animals. The host was also very communicative!

My husband and I wanted a cozy little get away for our anniversary & the lil school house was so perfect!!! It’s a nice rural setting and very well taken care of and remodeled so cute!!! I am so happy they had ceiling fans- that is one of my must haves anywhere we stay!!! We had everything we needed and excellent communication with our hosts!! It’s about 20 minutes into Manhattan and Tuttle Creek which was great since we brought our kayak!! It was the perfect stay!!

Interesting old re-purposed schoolhouse. Beds aren't great, one bed very creaky, one futon, one fold out couch. All are old. TV was up very steep stairs, like climbing a ladder. Not so great for us older folks. Many of the reviews mentioned great breakfast or food. I was told they don't offer breakfast any more. They did give us some fresh chicken eggs to cook on our second day. Chickens and cats running loose all around, they did ask us to not let them inside.
