I think this VRBO looks good in the pictures, and even better in real life. It's a convenient location and walking distance to several places around Howard University. It has a full kitchen and laundry facility. Check-in and check-out was also convenient. No complaints.
The host was incredibly accommodating when we unexpectedly arrived early and needed a late check out. The place was clean and had great access to everything in DC. WE felt welcome, safe and respected! A truly great rental, we would stay there again!
Very clean when we arrived. The apartment is close to the metro rail and a whole foods. Owner was easy to contact and very helpful. I highly recommend this property.
Very nice place with great location to most the tourist places you would want to go. Great for a weekend game at National’s Park! Very many positives. Only down side is there is no on site parking, the ceiling really should have had a little more insulation to dampen the sound from the above dwelling (expected some because it is the basement), and the thermostat is not in the basement to control the temperature (which would be helpful in the middle of the night when I got to warm) all in all a cute place with everything you would need to make a long weekend or a vacation week in DC! Would stay again!
Overall, very good. The only issue was a lot of mosquitos. I’m sure it was due to recent rainfall but I am quite allergic to them so it was more of an issue for me than most people. I didn’t complain because I’m sure there wasn’t much Jeff could do about it as I had a short stay. Other than that, it was a great experience.
This property was listed very accurately and fit our needs for this travel. The homeowner promptly replied to any messages I sent him. He was also very accommodating to our request to have a little extra time during checkout. We used uber and metro. The metro station was located nearby with a short 7 min walk through the neighborhood.
Overall, this was a great state. Very close to Center of DC in Metro stop nearby. The only thing that was kind of interesting was that it was a basement unit. That made it very cool but we were good with that. It just came as a surprise.
The downstairs apartment was as pictured and described. It was a very safe and peaceful base for our stay in DC.Host was very available and communicative. We would stay there again if we visit DC again.
