Love how the property is secluded and the hot tub was very relaxing after a long drive. It was a perfect weekend getaway for us. We will be visiting this property again.
Stayed here for a week and it was absolutely wonderful! The cabin is perfect and cozy and tucked into a little pocket of nature out in the woods. Not to mention its a short distance from Nashville which is an excellent city with tons to do. Staying here at the Love Shack has been one of the best vacations ive ever been able to experience, if you want a place to get away from it all and have a wondeful time, this is it.
The cabin was very clean. Loved the location. Very secluded. Would have liked some sort of covering over the patio and hot tub. It rained while we were there, would have been nice to sit out there and watch the rain.
Great place to stay.

Nice private location
Really nice secluded place. Had issues with a couple hornets but other than killing a couple insects. Real nice place to just spend time with your loved one.

James, so glad you enjoyed your stay at the Fork Inn’s Love Shack. It is indeed a wonderful place to spend time with your loved one. I wish you had let us know about the critters that were a bit bothersome. We could have stopped by and ushered them out the door! We do have experience with such matters. (If critters with stingers present a danger guests can always call us or use the spray available.) As you now know, we are in the midst of a pristine forest where we have seasonal visitors. As it is now getting cold some like to find a warm spot. For example, hornets, moving ever so slowly this time of year (and thus are harmless), like to gather in the window sills. Another friend that likes to visit us on their way south this time of year is the lady bug. They do come in numbers, but are harmless as well. Be that as it may, I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. Come see us again and have a wonderful holiday season.
What a wonderful cabin in the woods. The cabin was very clean had all the amenities we needed to cook with and anything else you could want. The property manager was extremely helpful, polite, kind and genuine. Would recommend this to ANYONE for a beautiful seclusion getaway still close enough to the city for fun
The home was very clean and in great condition. The drive to get to the house felt long and remote but the house was only 20/30 min from Franklin, and 40ish from downtown Nashville. There wasn't great signage letting you know which house was the right one, but once you find it it's easy. Very private property, we didn't pay for the hottub but in hindsight we would have. The owners were very communicative as well, so everything was easy.
Very great place to get away lots of privacy
Great communication from hosts
Me my sister and our husband's had a concert in Nashville glad we stay here and extra days so woth the relaxing time we had there away from everything. The hot tub and red neck pool were great. Thanks Wade for allowing us to get some much need time away. Definitely will be back.

So glad you enjoyed our special place in the forest. Hope you had a chance to walk down to the waterfall after the rain !
Our stay was romantic and amazing! We stayed for 5 nights so that changes logistics for a hot tub a bit. After day one it started to cloud so some pool chemicals were brought over for us to use. All other minor issues were addressed immediately! We enjoyed our stay to the point that if we are in the Nashville area again we would consider this property as an option!

Glad you enjoyed the Love Shack and the tub. It should have stayed clear if the top were kept down. But then again if you guys were super romantic it coulda gotten cloudy earlier. Cmon back soon !
Great remote cabin. Quiet and relaxing. The cabin was furnished with everything we needed for a great stay. The listing was very misleading with included amenities. Listing indicates a redneck pool and I confirmed with the host there was a pool onsite. However, there is no pool (there was a Rubbermaid tub smaller than a kiddie pool or bathtub) and the amenities are not on the property. You have to partner with a local organization to get access to rent paddle boats, canoe or other amenities. Aside from misleading amenities, I enjoyed and would recommend.
Check in was non existent. Wade was to send me instructions via text and did not. But for a neighbor out walking his dog we would have never found it. Upon arrival I found an empty coffee jar and reached out to see if anyone could bring us some since going to the store was not easy. Again received no help.
Per the listing there is a balcony- there is not. King size bed- again there is not. We were given old beach towels for the hot tub and 1 towel each for our 4 day 3 night stay. The numerous fluffy white towels in the pictures don’t exist. Also no washer or dryer unless they were behind a locked door.
Dishwasher was filthy as was the stove top. Dirty pans were in the oven.
This place needs a deep cleaning.

Very cute!
The love Shack was perfect for our little weekend get away. The house is very clean and comfortable. (The wifi is hit or miss- one night it worked and one night it didn't). Also, the town this home is in and the surrounding towns are lovely. We didn't have a lot of time to roam but if we did we could have spent a whole day just roaming Franklin and the surrounding little towns. The drive to Nashville was super easy. 20 minutes or so but you have so many beautiful neighborhoods to drive through on your way that it makes it very enjoyable. I loved looking at all the beautiful homes in Brentwood. The only complaint I would have about this house is there is not a lot of yard. You are pretty much perched on a mountain so past the yard it pretty much goes down. Which my husband and I like to go exploring but we couldn't here. Also, I would recommend some more outdoor seating closer to the house. There are only two chairs by the fire pit but are huge adirondack chairs and are hard to move. The house was great just wish we could've enjoyed being outside a bit more. Would totally recommend this house for the location. Franklin is beautiful and very close to Nashville.

Was not what we thought it would be
This was our honeymoon. We started out with the love shack. The hot tub did not work for the first three days we were there, then because I guess lack of rain we had sediment from the wells coming up through the toilets and the showers. The first three days at the shack, we were plunging the toilets and the showers. They moved us to a different cabin. That cabin was a bit nicer, but we went through an hour and a half of stress with Jonathan The owner because he did not want to give us an extra night of stay for all of the inconvenience we had gone through Including the extra expenses we paid for. Finally, he did and probably because of his wife. There was a gentleman who did everything in his power to help us. his name was Wade. He is a wonderful wonderful person on that property. We also had to supply a tank of gas for the outside gas grill at the love shack that we never even got to use. And the grill in the kitchen in the new cabin was absolutely gross and dirty. Leanne was a very nice person to deal with as well. We probably will not return in the future.
The property's manager, Wade, greeted us and throughout our stay was available if we had any problems. We enjoyed a tour of his greenhouse where he grew a variety of tomatoes some of which we were invited to take home.
The Love Shack was not far from the quaint town of Leipers Fork. If you want seclusion and natural beauty the Love Shack comes highly recommended.
The property is just like the pictures. The property manager was very helpful with the arrival process. We had no issues what so ever and plan to go back someday!
My new wife and I needed the weekend away since our honeymoon was dismantled by Covid. This place was perfect, and paying the extra for the hot tub was exactly what we needed. My only comment on the location is that we went during a dry season, so the waterfall was lovely but nowhere near the levels in the pics. (Watch for ticks and poison ivy during the hike.)
Great private stay in the woods. The cabin is even nicer then the pictures indicate. Check in was very friendly with great options in the area recommended. I would advise tacking down the rug in the main bedroom as it does slip.
