About this property
Vintage Cape on a Private Lane
About this space
Updated petite cape in a serene, private, pastoral setting. Only 4 minutes to downtown Kennebunkport, and 3 minutes to Cape Porpoise. Close to all the action, but afterwards you can unwind in a peaceful, idyllic setting. Migratory birds, wild turkeys, and deer often stroll through. Location is safe and great for kids. The house is well situated to access Goose Rocks and Gooch’s beaches. A great market (and deli), and top local lobster restaurants are minutes away.
The space
This classic Cape cottage has been updated, yet it still retains its original charm with nostalgic wood paneling and custom cabinetry. The living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and laundry are downstairs, while the sleeping quarters are upstairs. The bedrooms are modest in size, but are well appointed and have individually controlled AC units. The pale blue bedroom is the “master” and has a queen bed and reading nook. The pale green room has a queen, and is accessed by walking through the bedroom with 2 single (Twin XL) beds. Therefore, the layout is best suited for families and close friends. The house sits in a gorgeous park-like setting, surrounded by wide grassy fields, rock outcroppings, and tall trees.
