About this property
Gorgeous cabin in Arrowhead - Come enjoy the snow!
Looking for a place that’s as cozy as grandma’s kitchen but with way better views? Welcome to our Arrowhead mountain cabin in Cimarron, Colorado. With three bedrooms, a loft, and two bathrooms, there’s room for your whole crew.
Mornings start at the coffee bar, where the hardest decision is dark roast or hot cocoa. Days are for hiking through towering pines, fishing at fully stocked crystal-clear lakes, spotting elk and deer, or adventuring in the sparkling snow during winter. When the mountains are blanketed in white, it is a winter wonderland waiting to be explored—go snowmobiling, snowshoeing, or just chase each other around in the fluffy powder. (Fair warning: if you can’t fish, the nearest grocery store is 30 miles away, so stock up—or embrace the pioneer spirit of cooking with whatever’s in the cooler.)
Evenings at the cabin are best spent swapping stories, laughing until your cheeks hurt, or arguing over who really won at cards. Big windows bring the outdoors in, the sunny deck is perfect for stargazing, and the fireplace makes cozy nights magical after a long day exploring.
Too Much Quiet? Go for a drive and explore the area!
Blue Mesa Reservoir – 25 miles, perfect for boating or fishing
Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park – 35 miles, dramatic cliffs and epic views
Cimarron River & Alpine Trails – right outside your door for hiking and wildlife
Ouray – 75 miles, the “Switzerland of America” with hot springs and ice climbing
Telluride – 110 miles, world-class skiing, festivals, and charming mountain town vibes
When hunger strikes, and you don't feel like cooking, eat at the Arrowhead Mountain Lodge. Enjoy live music during the summer months (Memorial day through Labor Day). Lunch and dinner are served Monday through Friday; breakfast lunch and dinner are served Saturday and Sunday.
Heads-up: Cell service is spotty—so yes, you can pretend to fully disconnect. But don’t worry, Wi-Fi is provided.
Safety & security: For peace of mind the cabin has a doorbell camera.
Winter access note: In winter (approximately late November until April), the roads to the cabin are fully groomed for snow adventures, but closed to wheeled vehicles, so park at the Arrowhead Mountain Lodge, and then, catch a shuttle from the lodge for a small fee (make sure to reserve in advance!). If you want to reserve a snowmobile, contact the Arrowhead Mountain lodge, www.aplineplateu.com.
Please Read Before Booking:
