Mary's Place​ -A waterfront retreat

This waterfront property is perfect for a weekend fishing trip or a week-long retreat with your family. If you like to fish this is the perfect spot where you can fish from the dock or jump in the boat and find the spot on Lake Marion. The boat landing is about 5 min away so put the boat in the water and tie it up here. If you're not a fishermen, there is a private beach to lounge by or if you'd rather be inside watch the lake activities from our sunroom or living room. Golfers can enjoy this retreat as well, since the Wyboo Golf Club is just minutes away. Play a round of 18 then return and relax in this peaceful place.

We enjoyed our stay at Mary’s House so very much. It was a great place for our extended family to get together. The owners were so very helpful, considerate, and quick to communicate with us.

Not up to Par

First of of no parking , grass hasn’t been cut in weeks. Fire ants all over the yard . Goose drooping everywhere. The A/C in house couldn’t keep it cool during the day , it would cool at night. It was in low 90’s couldn’t image if it was 100 degrees. Electrical hazards everywhere because there were no cover on the outlets. Had to warn the kids . House wasn’t clean .

Mary’s place

This was our sixth year at this home. We love the location and large lot. Fishing is great from the bulkhead and the dock. An older home with lots of charm. Great memories are made here.

Lots of windows, great view, wide waterfront yard. 4 adults stayed this trip. Plenty of room to spread out & find your own quiet space. Would stay again.

A Slice of Heaven

We had a wonderful time, and enjoyed this home immensely. It was squeaky clean, and is so spacious. If you want to get away from it all, sit in rocking chair, overlooking a lake full of activity while you sit in a huge all-window air conditioned sun room, this is the place for you! This is a place to totally unwind. You can boat, fish, swim or just sit and relax. The host was very responsive to all questions and needs. I would absolutely return to this home. It's one of the best I've been to over the years.

Great Home with a Spectacular View

My brother was getting married and we chose Aunt Mary’s because it was close to the venue. The house was very spacious and homey. And that view….the view was SPECTACULAR! The sunroom was my favorite part of the house. We enjoyed sitting out there drinking our morning coffee. I like the fact that there were a lot of kitchen supplies. Cindy was an excellent host. We will definitely be coming back!

We are a family of 5. My husband and I have 3 daughters. They grew up going to visit our Aunt Mary in this home. We have lots of fun memories here and I know our guests will create many of their own too.

Why they chose this property

This home was my Aunt Mary's home and we loved visiting her. She was so awesome. She was known as "the nice lady" to people in town. Thus the name "Mary's Place". As our guests stay I'm sure they will love the location and the peacefulness as much as we do.
