About this property

Enjoy our loft with a private hot tub overlooking the vineyard and pond.

The Loft is the upper story of a house with my shop below. The loft has a large deck which has a grill, hammock, outdoor table for 4, two lounge seats and a hot tub. The house has a fully equipped kitchen, large jd tv in the bedroom,dining room, and a living area with a reclining sofa and TV. Our property has a vineyard, an almost 4,000 square foot cedar covered veranda with darts, music, TVs, corn hole, ( we offer wedding and Reception packages in a separate request). Lots of trees, a pond with a deck, and shaded places to be outside. We have plenty of wildlife including rabbits, roadrunners, and cardinals, as well as frogs, fish and turtles in the pond. In the summer, we have lots of purple martins who come back year after year.
Many of our travelers enjoy feeding the fish, walking the vineyard or others just enjoy getting away from the bustle of city life.
Unfortunately for those of you who would like to make this a family vacation with children, we regret to inform you this is an adult only destination.

Nice property, did not like the cat that would come hang out on the patio (not cat people) the fire place would not work, the thermostat would not keep upstairs and downstairs equal temp, very clean very well kept, nice host, easy instructions, nice amenities.

We LOVED our stay in the Loft! The pictures don’t do this place justice! It’s beautiful, peaceful and cozy! My husband and I stayed for a Valentine’s weekend getaway and we didn’t want to leave! Linda was a fantastic host…so sweet, attentive and left us with a delicious Valentine’s treat! Our favorite was the relaxing on the deck listening to the birds sing…we were visited by a red cardinal every day of our stay! We also loved the hot tub and the amazing big shower! We enjoyed walking over to the pond and feeding the fish. We hope to stay here again in the near future when everything is green and there’s fruit on the vines!

I can’t say enough about how nice this place was and how on top of everything Linda is. She was prompt in her responses and went above and beyond. Peaceful setting!

My daughters and I planned a weekend getaway with art events in OKC. This was a very clean and peaceful place to stay, and while it was a little bit of a drive downtown, it was easy access to main thoroughfares. Linda and Laura were hospitable and helpful with everything. Enjoyable stay!

Work Retreat

This house served as home base for a work training retreat & was beyond expectations. Enough bedrooms that nobody had to share. A yard to suit the service dog that was with us. Clean & modern & perfect for our needs!

We loved our stay at the loft! The loft itself was spacious and the area was peaceful and quiet. Linda was very accommodating and did her best to make our stay pleasant! I loved the visits from Douglas, her cat! We had a bbq with 12 adults, 2 girls and 2 toddlers and 3 infants and Linda went out of her way (she was trying to get the property ready for a wedding the following weekend) to make sure there was fish food for feeding the fish in the pond and provided a cot hole game for us to use! We will definitely stay here again!

A Wonderful Getaway

We had a perfect Valentines weekend getaway at Nellis. It was charming and quiet and quaint – but close enough to Edmund, so that dinner was literally a 10 minute drive away. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway and a charming little vineyard, look no further. Everything was as described and, while we did bump into the owners upon arrival, we never had any need to reach out to them with any needs or concerns. Directions were clear, check-in was easy, and it was a wonderful, quiet weekend for us.

Slice of heaven

This was the most relaxing stay we have had. The owners are friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed feeding the fish in the pond, playing darts and dancing in the covered veranda. The personal wine tasting was pretty special. The loft cabin was comfortable with a large bright shower and a cozy towel warmer. The hot tub ended our night while star gazing. The hammock was relaxing as well as coffee on the porch.

Sleet & solitude!

I stayed in the loft while in okc for a work trip & the evening solitude was just what I needed. No neighbors. Just gloomy weather, a hot tub, & a good book. The loft space was well maintained & met all my needs. The host were responsive. Ill definitely book again!

Why they chose this property

I built this house with my mother and lived in it for many years. It has been renovated and updated to be a vacation rental.

What makes this property unique

One of the best things about this house is sitting on the upper deck enjoying a cup of coffee as the sun or the moon begins to rise in the eastern sky. You will feel like you are in a tree house as you look out through the tree tops that surround the house. The house is furnished with some antiques collected through the years, particularly the sewing machines and their bases that my mother had.
