Come escape to the Orca Mountain Chalet, a brand new Girdwood build! Mountain modern architecture designed by local architect in an excellent location nestled in huge spruce and hemlock trees! Hot tub on deck!
A towering deck provides great views of mountains, ski hill and private burbling brook on a quiet street great for kids. Walk to Chair 4 lift in ~350 yards or Brewery ~300 yards. Great for 1-2 families with finished garage hang out area, open plan main level and a huge loft to enjoy family games.
The large deck boasts full south facing sun, a large gas BBQ and gas fire place. Luxurious furnishings throughout and an impressive luxurious custom kitchen.
With a quiet, large queen size bedroom on the bottom floor with private bathroom across the hall this is a great space for guests that prefer more privacy. The main two bedrooms are located on the main floor, one with a king bed and deck entrance on the front, and the other with a queen bedroom with twin bunks which share the main floor bathroom.

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please promptly check out by 11 am as cleaners will be there immediately after. Please close any windows and lock the doors.
Please clean up any dishes and put in the dishwasher and turn it on.
Please start a load of towels in the washing machine as this will help our cleaners on the busy turnover days. Thank you!
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
We are in a quiet neighborhood and thus have a strict noise policy with quiet hours from 10 pm to 8 am. No parties on premises will be tolerated.
No smoking or vaping policy. Please do not cook smelly foods in the house. No parking in the garage as it is setup for a hang out / living space.
No shoes beyond the entry way or garage, please bring cozy slippers if you require them, but the floors are all heated. Keep trash in bear proof bin.

This is a fantastic single family home in downtown Girdwood. Walkable to Alyeska lifts, restaurants and brewery. They really thought of everything when building this place - very well appointed. Justin provides impeccable service. Highly recommend this home!

Justin was an amazing host! Always communicated quickly and was willing to help. The property was fantastic and very clean. It was the most equipped rental property I have found to date. No looking for cooking utensils etc. everything was there and more! The layout of the home was perfect for our needs. The location was well located for our group. I would recommend this property!

We had a fantastic stay at the Luxurious Orca Mountain Chalet! The home truly lives up to its name—beautifully designed, very comfortable, and exceptionally functional. Justin was a great host—responsive, helpful, and made everything easy from start to finish.Our family of four stayed for a week to ski at Alyeska, and the location couldn’t have been better—so close to the lift, which made our days effortless. The heated floors and gas fireplace were amazing after long days on the mountain, and the experience was made even more special when we were able to see the northern lights from both the hot tub and the large windows!The house is thoughtfully laid out and could easily accommodate a much larger group. Highly recommend this place—we would absolutely stay here again!

This house was the perfect getaway experience! We really appreciated how clean and comfortable everything was. We felt like we were staying in a real home with quality furnishings and appliances. The heated floors and spotless hot tub kept us all warm and cozy. The 5 minute walk to the chairlifts was a huge plus, too! Highly recommend this spot, and thanks to Justin for being such a responsive and friendly host.

The property is in a premier location within walking distance to ski hill, restaurants, virgin falls and the brewery. The towering old growth sitka spruce trees surround the house and the natural creek on the property burbles when you are sitting by the outdoor fire pit or relaxing on the south facing deck soaking up the sun. The location is very quiet with all local residents on the street and many dog walkers strolling by to wave hello!
