We absolutely loved our stay here. It was Peaceful, serene, and relaxing. We especially loved the animals and being greeted by them every day. The host stayed in communication with us, and had provided basics we needed before arrival - down to fresh farm eggs! We enjoyed watching the horse a buggies pass by daily. You are out in the country life, but close to unique shops with goods made and sold by the Amish. We hope to be back to the area and will definitely book this place again! Thanks for sharing it with us.
We enjoyed our stay here. The farmhouse had plenty of room for us all and it was in a great location for visiting all the local attractions. The house was very clean and the kids loved the animals!
The kitchen had all we needed, the bedrooms were huge and the screened in porch was fantastic to watch the animals and the Amish buggies going by. Everything was very clean and pretty.
This was a perfect place to stay, very clean. The kids had a blast outside with the animals, so much space for all. The host responded quickly with any questions we had. Would highly recommend, very relaxing
Great place to stay. Away from congestion of the Lancaster area put close enough to the activities we had planned. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Main level bathroom has an easy step in shower for persons with mobility issues. Kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. We would sray here again.
This farmhouse was perfect for our stay. Our daughter was getting married in East Earl and we were traveling from Kansas. This house had everything we needed and the hosts were so great to work with. I would love to stay here every time we visit our daughter :)
We had a fabulous weekend at this beautiful farmhouse. It was spotless clean and tastefully furnished, maintaining the farmhouse feel with all the needed modern amenities. Ada was very responsive to all our needs and the complimentary cookies, eggs, milk, candy and plenty of apples to feed Jack, Pepper and the goats was a great touch. The beds were very comfortable and the location is very convenient to explore the countryside and close to shopping, restaurants and Lancaster. A perfect weekend in perfect accommodations. We would definitely stay here again.
Perfect location for us to attend a family wedding. House was roomy and comfortable with beautiful sunroom, deck and outdoor spaces. Ada was helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend!!
The home provides great space for our extended family. We were in the heart of Amish county and loved hearing the horse and buggies as we sat on the covered porch or bed swing under the tree.
Our whole family stayed at the farmhouse for the weekend. We had great fun feeding the farm animals, watching the Amish buggies go by, and enjoying time together on the screened-in porch after the children were asleep. Wonderful memories made!
Our weekend trip with the family was made more special with this lovely home. It was filled with history and very comfortable with updated amenities. The scenery of farmland around us was peaceful, along with the animals in the pasture next to the driveway. The kids loved visiting with them and feeding them. We would definitely come back.

This house was perfect for our large family. The location was close to local attractions, but far enough away to enjoy Amish country and rest. We hope to return again in the future.
Great location, nice people, house was very clean and beautifully decorated, owner left us eggs, butter and milk, feed for the goats, apples for the horse and donkey, wood for the fire pit. House was so spacious, and kitchen/dinning area was perfect for meals and craft night. Screened porch was perfect for relaxing in the evening and morning coffee. Definitely want to plan another visit.
Ada was the sweetest host!! And her place was probably the most incredible place we have ever stayed in. I had my bachelorette party in Lancaster and the girls loved how spacious the house was and how much there was to explore! Especially the balcony, gardens, and Jack and Pepper :) If I ever find myself coming back to Lancaster with a large party, I will be sure to ask Ada for availability again. I am happy to recommend her to anyone who asks!

Why they chose this property
We love the location of this place. Its on farmland, right around Amish homes, close to tourist attractions. I love going over and sitting on the porch looking at the amazing views and breathing in fresh country air.
What makes this property unique
Some of the reasons I love this property is that you can get a glimpse of what it would be like to live on a farm. This house was built in the 1800s. When we bought it we did some renovating but still allowed the house to tell its story. We have a horse, donkey, and sheep in the meadow. They love to be hand fed by our guests. we have apples for the horse and feed for the sheep.
