Summary:
Humarock Hideaway is your serene retreat in Scituate’s beloved Humarock Beach community. Overlooking the South River, this charming 2BR cottage sleeps 4 and offers a king bed, twin beds, full kitchen, bright living spaces, and decks for soaking in the view. Walk to sandy beaches, restaurants, and shops, then return to relax with river breezes, an outdoor shower, and all the comforts of home.
The Space:
Welcome to Humarock Hideaway, your next perfect stay in the heart of Scituate’s Humarock Beach—where the sand, sea, and river views create the ultimate coastal escape. Tucked in a quiet neighborhood along the South River, this two-bedroom cottage is just a short stroll to the beach and walking distance to local favorites like the ice cream stand, Bridgeway restaurant, Voyage, and charming shops.
Inside, you’ll find two comfortable bedrooms: a king in the primary and two twins in the second, perfect for families or friends. A full bathroom with a handheld showerhead adds convenience.
The fully stocked kitchen includes a stove, microwave, drip coffee maker, kettle, dishwasher, and full-size fridge. Dine indoors at the table for four, gather at the island for casual bites, or take your meals outside to the decks overlooking the river.
The living room invites you to unwind with comfortable seating and a smart TV for streaming your favorite shows. Central air keeps the cottage cool all summer, and a washer/dryer in the basement makes longer stays easy.
Outdoor living is just as inviting: rinse off in the outdoor shower after a beach day, fire up the gas grill for dinner, and enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktails on the front or back deck as the river drifts by.

About Humarock
Humarock is a charming seaside village on a narrow peninsula, known for its wide sandy beach, breathtaking sunrises, and small-town coastal charm. Once part of the mainland, it became a unique destination after the Portland Gale of 1898 reshaped the shoreline. Today, visitors come for its walkable mix of beachside restaurants, ice cream stands, gift shops, and scenic bridges that connect it to the mainland. Whether you’re strolling along the dunes, savoring fresh seafood, or watching the tide roll in, Humarock delivers the kind of relaxed, salt-air escape that keeps guests coming back year after year.
Other Things to Note:
We look forward to welcoming you soon, standard rules like no smoking, no pets, no partying and being respectful of the neighbors apply.
