This was a great property for our family and grandparents. We loved being close to the beach, so we could easily walk, rent equipment, go to the restaurants and even walk to a close by coastal hike. There were fans in the rooms and enough space for us all to spread out.

Location! Location! Location! Excellent! One block walk to the beach. Loved the fruit trees on property Old home—kitchen well equipped but hot as hades cooking dinner in the evening for my 5 fellas. Lower level bedroom and bathroom—bath shower needs attention.

We’re so glad you enjoyed the location, fruit trees, and easy walk to the beach—those are some of our favorite things about the property as well. We’re sorry to hear that the warmer weather during your visit impacted your comfort. As noted in our listing, the home does not have air conditioning. Poipu is typically cooled by refreshing trade winds, and the house is designed with numerous windows and screened openings to maximize natural airflow. While most guests find this very comfortable, weather conditions can occasionally be warmer than usual. We also appreciate your comments regarding the downstairs shower and will be reviewing that area with our maintenance team. Thank you again for your stay, and we wish you all the best on your future travels.

We loved this little house! It's in a beautiful neighborhood within walking distance of the beach. The house is a little bit older, which we didn't mind, and has a nice, private backyard to relax in. We did have a couple of small issues like running out of propane on the grill when we went to cook our fish for dinner, and we blew a breakerand realized we couldn't use a hairdryer while the ceiling fans are running. the host was very responsive and nice to work with. Would definitely stay here again!
