What an amazing cabin! Host was wonderful and even dropped off some Yooper chocolate for us! My husband and I took our daughter, son in law and 3 yo granddaughter to visit friends in the area and this house had everything we could have possibly needed or wanted! There was a basket of toys, children books and even kids cups for us to use. We felt like we’re at home. We will definitely make this our permanent vrbo home when we come back to the UP next spring.
What a beautiful place- inside and out! We didn't leave the place much, we had everything we needed right there. Also lucky enough to see the Northern Lights one night! Absolutely loved our time here. Easy check in, full kitchen and grill to cook, beautiful lakeshore and fire pit area. The sun sets right across the lake from this place, and there was a mother deer and her fawns that would pass through. Lots of different birds and ducks and wildlife around. Can't recommend this place enough
Wow! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! This is a perfect little cabin on the shore of (big) Lake Manistique with sunset views. It has fantastic views of the lake and is far back from the main road (which has very little traffic anyway). The neighbor (one side only) is close enough to be seen but not heard. The hosts have provided everything you could possibly need! (Except for food of course). This is the first VRBO I've had where there was sufficient TP and other paper products. The furniture, appliances, all the accommodations are top-notch! The hosts are very responsive and really want you to have a comfortable stay. Additionally, this site is centrally located for activities on the east side of the UP; less than an hour drive to Lake Superior, Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls, Sault Ste Marie, and many other hiking trails. I highly recommend this property!
Our family loved staying here! They had everything we needed and more. We had so much fun taking the kayaks out fishing and taking the paddle boards out. We enjoyed a fire most nights. It was very clean and cute inside. We would definitely return. :)
Great property with a recently updated cottage overlooking a picturesque lake. Lake access was easy to take out the provided kayaks for a paddle. The fire pit and chairs made for nice evenings to sit out and eat s'mores while watching the sunset. The back porch and entire house had great windows to enjoy the views and allow airflow through the house. Kitchen was well stocked with good quality appliances and dishes, plus various supplies were provided in the pantry, bathroom and laundry for convenient guest use. Great communication with the property manager, who even dropped off an extra fan during particular hot weather. Would definitely book another stay!
