Hi the home was very clean and quiet, and the cost was very reasonable for 3 bedrooms in the greater Boston area. Parking on site was helpful too. The host was very responsive whenever I sent a message.

I arrived our first night at about 930 or 945 pm. When we got there there was a property manager/ cleaner that was there in the bathroom. He had been exercising and took a shower. The bathroom was left very dirty. We texted host that we were leaving. I have a dispute with my credit card company for a full refund.

From what we were told, we were the second guests to stay at this property, so there were a few bumps at the start. The house wasn’t fully clean upon arrival, but after some persistence the owner sent the cleaner back. That delayed our check-in, but it was taken care of. A few essentials were also missing, and once notified, the owner responded quickly and resolved everything so we could enjoy our stay.Parking can be tricky. The long driveway is shared with another unit, so if someone pulls in behind you, getting out isn’t easy. Street parking is available but limited to two hours between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m., which isn’t ideal for longer stays.The location is wonderful—quiet, walkable, and with kind neighbors. The house is cute, and though it has only one bathroom, that wasn’t an issue for us. We offered the owner suggestions like updated bedding, pillows, and towels, among other items, to improve future guests’ stays. He was receptive and grateful, and I’m confident he’ll take the advice on board.What stood out most was the owner’s attentiveness and kindness. It’s clear he’s invested in making this one of the best properties in the neighborhood. Once the initial issues were resolved, we had a great stay and would recommend this property to anyone looking for a charming spot with a host who truly cares about the guest experience.
