About this property
Little Cayman 3 Bedroom Oceanfront Private Villa
Salt Rocks Villa is positioned high on the rock shoreline with panoramic views of the Caribbean Sea. No neighbors as far as the eye can see and the only noises you will hear are the waves on the shoreline and the breeze gently blowing in the trees.
You will love the view, the sunsets, the pure clean air, the solitude, the night skies, away from it all in your own sanctuary. The open-plan floor space and the amazing naval architectural design vaulted ceiling make this private villa unique. Every living room, every bedroom, all have an uninterrupted view of the ocean.
Scuba diving, fishing or bird watching are the big attractions for people visiting Little Cayman..... or those just looking for some peace, quiet and tranquility. Dive trips for certified divers can be booked with Reef Divers or Southern Cross Club. Guests would need to contact these dive operations to book and trips with them directly.
'Point of Sand' is an 11 mile drive to the East of the Villa. This is one of the best beaches and snorkel sites you will find anywhere in the Caribbean.
'Hungry Iguana' is the only independent restaurant and is highly recommended for lunch and dinner. Most of the resorts have in-house restaurants and except reservations from guests not staying with them. 'Little Cayman Beach Resort' has a great beach bar, call 'Beach Nuts', which serves excellent bar food. LCBR also has a buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Village Square general store stocks most essential grocery items and some fresh produce. McLaughlin Rental Cars are located next door to the Store and there is also a Liquor Store on the same building.
You will need to rent a car. Salt Rocks Villa is located 2.1 miles from the airport. McLaughlin Rental Cars is a 250 yard walk from the airport. The Villa has 2 adult bikes and 1 kids bike that are for guest use.
You will be staying on one of the most remote inhabited islands in the aribbean. Mobile phone coverage is unreliable, internet speeds are slow, no cable TV and electricity power cuts (black-outs) can happen from time to time. The House has a large cistern (water tank) that supplies the property for sinks, toilets, showers. You can brush your teeth with the water, but we would not recommend drinking it. Buy gallon bottles of drinking water from the store at the 'Village Square'. Little Cayman is a magical place that time forgot, with a primitiveness that helps you let go of stress and unwind.
