Awesome stay at Salt Rock Villa

What a great house in a great location! The house is perfectly located for views of the Caribbean Sea and the night sky. Very private and peaceful. The house was clean and very well stocked (the best we've experienced). We will definitely book again. You will not be disappointed!

Scuba diving paradise

The house is a spectacular beautiful house right on the ocean all the amenities. You would need great customer, service, and host.

Enjoyable stay!

The house was very comfortable, and we loved going to sleep by the sound of the surf at night. Be advised that the walkway to the water's edge is blocked; you can climb over, but unless it is dead-flat-calm, entering the water there is not safe. Would loved to have been able to sit on the deck to watch the sunset, but those no-see-ums go right for me.

This is a beautiful place. The views are spectacular. Host was very helpful and quick to respond to questions. Check in was easy. Kitchen had everything we needed. Plenty of towels. Great snorkle spot out front. Not for novice snorklers or kids. Entry is easy but exiting can be tough depending on surf. Alot of the walk way has been washed away. Would absolutely stay here again.

The Salt Rock house

It was a house that was obviously loved and well cared for. There was an attention to detail, and they had supplies in the house like a first aid kit, flashlight, laundry soap, and beach towels. Enjoyed using the bikes and sitting outside on the porch facing the ocean. The only thing it doesn't have is a beach but there are plenty of other beaches to go to. Nice sunsets.

Great! But no access to the water

Wonderful, well designed and comfortable, but the coral wall at the water’s edge is dangerous and requires some kind of dock or other way to safely get in and out of the water. It’s looks like the owner has tried…but renters should know they will have to drive to find a place to swim.

Paul, Thank you for staying at Salt Rocks Villa in Little Cayman. There is no shore access from the property as it is located on the cliff by the ocean. In very clam weather (normally the summer time) you can access at your own risk. The coral reef out front is beautiful, but it is not something that we promote. I certainly agree with the idea of building something to assist with access, but attempts in the past have been wiped out in passing storms. The location is all about the views, sunsets and island breeze. The water access is something we will work on for the future plans. Thank you for your booking and we hope to host you again soon. Best regards, Steve

We have passed by Salt Rocks Villa on many occasions while diving bloody Bay Wall and decided to give it a try. We were very pleased. The house views are spectacular from both within the home and on the back deck. We were fortunate to take in the view on both very windy rough days with waves crashing into the rocks below the home, to serene dead calm days with no wave action at all.As Stephen, the host, correctly points out, the path to the ocean is treacherous due to storms that have damaged part of the walkway. While on very calm days it is possible to enter and exit Bloody Bay using the path, it is not advisable. The cleanliness of the home was immaculate and the decoration with the ocean theme was as good as it gets. I would be advised that while the home does have 3 bedrooms, 1 is a loft with a queen bed and bunk beds. It overlooks the living room and does not have the privacy of the other 2 lovely bedrooms. Since there were only 2 of us we didn't care but others might. We have stayed at numerous properties on Little Cayman and enjoyed the Salt Rocks Villa (known by locals as the Splash House) immensely. It is definitely a great place to stay.

Great stay

I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a modern house with a bit of privacy without being remote. The views are fantastic and we saw a green flashes at sunset every night during our three night stay.

Perfect!

we had 3 couples stay for a long weekend getaway. The views are amazing, the villa is well equipped with everything you could need. Very relaxing and husband fell in love with the grill :) If it had a pool you'd have difficulty getting me to leave. Highly recommend.

Perfect for a getaway to Little Cayman

Amazing views and plenty of space for a weekend in Little Cayman with friends. No complaints; in fact we really appreciated the help received when our flights were delayed by a tropical storm. Would definitely recommend the villa!
