Kitchen has full size refrigerator and gas stove, microwave and utensils , pots & pans and more for all your cooking needs . Woodstove for those chilly nights. Hardwood flooring. Backyard has a peaceful rushing creek, swimmable in the warm weather . Picnic table and charcoal grill for outdoor cooking.

2nd time staying here and it is such a great place for peace and quiet. The cabin is big enough for a comfortable stay while being cozy and old-world feel. Kitchen, bathroom and pantry are stocked with all the necessary needs and town of Woodstock is 15min up the road. Perfect.

A wonderful cozy cabin

We had the most amazing weekend. The place is a perfect little cabin on the edge of an idyllic creek. We lost power in a brief storm soon after arriving and Eugenia was so helpful in making sure we had everything we needed, including starting some gas laterns (perfect mood setting) and hooking up the generator until power came back next day. The area is quiet and beautiful. Will definitely be coming back.

Relaxing getaway

This was the perfect Catskills getaway for my partner and I and our small dog. We thoroughly enjoyed the cabin and all of its amenities. The location was also excellent for exploring and hiking in the Catskills.

A comfortable, clean and cozy cabin.

We had everything we needed for a wonderful hiking weekend. The kitchen is nicely supplied with all we needed to make our meals. The bed is very comfortable and the living room is relaxing. We would stay here again.

Great cabin!

We so enjoyed our stay at the Cabin! Very clean, warm, cozy. Loved being by the river, with plenty of seating. The wood-burning fireplace was perfect on the chilly nights, with lots of firewood. Wonderful getaway in the Catskills. Go- you will love it.

Had a wonderful 3 days at the cabin. Loved hearing the sound of the water. The room that has the desk and bed in it has this great window with a great view. It’s just perfect!!!!

Charming Cabin

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Charming Cabin. The property is as advertised, and the location is a great starting point for exploring Woodstock and the surrounding area. Communication with the owner was excellent - we had some issues with Internet connectivity upon arrival and Eugenia responded swiftly with a solution. We especially enjoyed sitting in the alcove and looking out at the stream behind the house, and our dog loved playing outside. We very much recommend this property if you are looking for a relaxing stay in the Catskills.

Everything I had hoped for and more

I stayed at the cabin from Sun-Wed for a solo getaway. Time to relax, enjoy the peace and quiet and recharge batteries. The setting delivered all that and more - so peaceful, quaint, super clean and everything you could want in a getaway. The cabin is super cozy, comfy chairs, couch, tables and windows to look out of at every turn. Wifi is awesome (~80MPS), kitchen is stocked with all the things you need, gas and charcoal grills, and the bathroom is fully stocked. One could show up with nothing else but food (and there are a number of great places to eat so...) and have everything else you need already there! Already planning my stay for next year.

Disconnect from the “modern” world in the most positive way.

Just what I was looking for. Not for everybody if you want modern telecommunication as today’s generation expects it. Getting in touch with your own juju can require some innermost sensitivity. No TV, though I’m sure it was possible with a little digging in.

Could've been better

No BR closet, very small dresser, fan light would not turn on after when we first got there, mattress needs to be replaced big time, kitchen small but workable but could use a complete set of new utensils, wood stove needs a thorough cleaning and the hot air heater makes you too warm when its on and chilly when its off and it wasn't that cold during our stay.. I was also surprised it was so close to the road but that's not a huge deal. Other than above it was nice and quiet.

It was ok. The wood burning stove did'nt work. the TV set was complicated to use.Could use some written instructions. The owners son came around 5pm after we got there and was very disrespectful yelling why did'nt I call his mom to let her know we were there. No we will never come back.

Absolutely loved the bedding - best sleep I’ve had in a long time. Cute clean cabin, everything you need for a getaway from home. The firepit was awesome in the evenings, we had amazing weather, loved the local ambiance. We love to go antiquing and had plenty of opportunities in the areato do so!

Cozy hideaway

We had a great time at this cottage, which was clean, comfortable, and ideally situated in the heart of Ulster County. The cottage feels old-timey and rustic, but has everything you need for a comfortable stay- including good mattress, efficient air conditioning, wifi, a bluetooth speaker, smart TV, and ceiling fans. Listening to the river only a few yards away while relaxing in the hammock was a bonus. The owner was incredibly responsive - we lost the house key and she responded quickly to open the house - very friendly and helpful.

Lovely Stay

We had such a lovely weekend! The property was beautiful and perfectly located near some amazing hikes—we managed to fit in three great ones during our stay. On Saturday, we cozied up indoors with the rain coming down and enjoyed a fire in the wood stove, which made the space feel even more special. The outdoor area is absolutely stunning and made the whole experience even more relaxing. Highly recommend!

There is a magic about this place, my artist father used to come here with his passion for trout fishing. Tranquil, relaxing, and peaceful.

What makes this property unique

Walk out the back door and jump in the stream on a hot day. Barbeque on the charcoal grill and eat dinner on the picnic table as the creek rushes by! Afternoon sun in the creekbed warms you after a refreshing dip! Sweet cabin in a sweet spot.
