Our stay was outstanding. This house exceeded our expectations. It has something for every member of the family. The rooms are clean and each bedroom has its own bathroom. The views are spectacular and the host is extremely kind and responsive. Close to a grocery store and all that Vermont has to offer.

5 Stars from all our crew ranging from 9 months to 67 years old. Even the dogs loved it! Gorgeous house with amazing views from every room. Fully stocked with all we needed. A few of our favorites were the outdoor gas fireplace where we watched the Patriots and Celtics games at night, the many meals cooked in a beautiful kitchen and of course, the area where we hiked each day was gorgeous. Our host was always easy to reach! Thank you Julie! We will be back!

Another Amazing Stay!This was our second year staying at Julie’s beautiful home in Townshend, Vermont, and it was just as amazing as our first visit! This place truly feels like our happy place.The property was super clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. Very clean and cozy property with an incredibly thoughtful host. The place is well stocked and furnished with just about everything you might need during your stay. The kitchen is especially well equipped, with great pots, pans, knives, and more. There are also several nice touches like multiple coffee stations and even a popcorn setup, which made the stay feel extra welcoming and convenient. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful stay at the Lodge! Well appointed rooms and the house has everything you need! Felt like a home away from home. We loved it and will definitely be going back. Top notch rental- the house is perfect. The owners have really thought of everything. Plenty of space for our two families. Each bedroom has its own bathroom which was so helpful. We would absolutely stay here again. Julie is so nice and strives to ensure guests have everything they need. We have rented many houses for ski trips and this is by far the best!!

This property has absolutely stunning views from sunrise to sunset! We traveled there to celebrate a graduation event with our family and it could not have been a better experience. This was the perfect house and location to gather our family for our mother’s surprise 60th birthday weekend getaway. The property was ideal for relaxation and entertainment. The kids had a blast playing in the backyard with lawn games and the adults loved the outdoor ski lift swing, fire pit, and gas stove. Julie was super responsive and available with any questions or help we needed. She went above and beyond and even left flowers and a card for my mother. We only left once for a quick hike in the nearby State Forest, but had no desire to leave this gorgeous house to go anywhere else. We would love to make this a new tradition and come back again next year!

This was one of the nicest places I've stayed. 12 of my family, with dogs, stayed here for Thanksgiving for 4 days. Everything is new, clean, comfortable and well thought-out. The home is very well stocked and our host even provided a new turkey roasting pan, gravy boats, and serving platters. The kitchen is larger than it seems in the pictures. The viking range was excellent. The coffee bar with its own water system was great. The dishwasher is silent! The bedrooms are tastefully done and super comfortable, and very private from each other. With 12 people, we really appreciated that 4 and a half bathrooms! We played records (remember those??) on the modern Victrola. We enjoyed s'mores on the deck and a campfire in the yeard. The view is amazing! My room had a balcony and each room has a view to the mountains. The main level has a nice gathering area by the fireplace, so many of us spent time there, while the downstairs has a separate area where the 20 somethings hung out. Downstairs is a super comfy den with huge bean bag chairs and a game area. Not to mention the pac man game. Our host thought of EVERYTHING, even really nice outdoor blankets to use by the fire. Pets were very welcome. Big comfy dog beds were available as well as raised bowls and a supply of dog bags. The young couple in the family stayed in the 'bunk house' with its king size bed and loved it. This was a perfect house for a big family. Our host was very responsive and communicative.
