Whether you’re seeking peaceful solitude or a base for outdoor adventures, this charming cabin blends rustic warmth with modern comfort, creating the perfect getaway for couples, solo travelers, or small families.

Although not lakefront, short distance to community dock with lake access, dock, & boat ramp (3 min drive).

7 miles from Smith Mountain Lake State Park!

The entire house is available for guest use, with the exception of the lofts that are for storage only. The entire 1,200 square foot deck, the community dock, hot tub, and the three acre lake access property is available for use, with just a drive down to the water.

We currently do not allow any pets inside the house, as our cleaning staff has an allergy. The property has exterior security cameras facing the driveway.

Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Turn off propane to grill/firepit, and return any items used from the outdoor storage bin
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Smoking is allowed, outside only.
Rinse prior to Hot Tub Entry. Do not use the menu settings on the hot tub, as permanent damage may occur. Do not add chemicals to the hot tub.
The loft areas are for owners storage and not for guest use currently.

A wonderful cabin for a weekend getaway! The house is brand new, it still smells like wood when you walk in (love that). Everything inside and out was super clean and well taken care of. We absolutely loved using the hot tub, grill, and fire pit. Kayaks were a nice plus to go out on the lake with. If we’re able to come back, the only thing I would change is to bring more food to cook and enjoy at the house - the house is a bit far from stores but makes it so peaceful to be surrounded by woods.

This property was everything we wanted out of our trip. It was quiet, serene, and private - a perfect getaway. We saw so many deer! The hosts thought of lots of little touches that showed how thoughtful every inch of the property is. They provided a packet of laundry detergent, soaps, paper towels, a Brita filter, and a fully stocked kitchen (utensils, pots, pans and the like, not food - though there are k cups, dry creamer, and some condiments!). Everything was perfectly clean and nicely decorated. We loved the electronic fireplace, hottub, grill, and outdoor items like corn hole. The hosts were very responsive and kindly provided us recommendations of places to eat. 10/10 would love to stay here again.

We had such a wonderful stay at the cabin; it truly felt like the perfect secluded getaway. The space was incredibly cozy and thoughtfully designed, making it easy to relax and unwind from the moment we arrived. What really stood out were all the little details that made it extra special, like the soft robes provided for us, dedicated makeup towels, and even a sound machine to create the perfect atmosphere for rest. One of the highlights was the hot tub. There's nothing like soaking under the night sky, surrounded by complete peacefulness, stillness, and quiet. Another big bonus was the Blackstone grill to cook gourmet meals on the property. Also, the Wifi functioned perfectly in such a remote location for streaming and communication with our family. If you're looking for a private cozy retreat this is the spot! We'd absolutely come back again!

We had the best time at the little house. It was quiet and peaceful. It was just what we needed. Being able to cook on the grill and eat outside on the deck was perfect. Nights were spent by the fire pit. We did drive to smith mountain state park and hiked one of the trails. Perfect weather too. We will definitely be returning. We highly recommend this house for anyone that wants to get away from the stressors of ever day life for a few days.

Our 3‑night stay at this cabin was everything we hoped for and more. The space was spotless, cozy, and fully stocked with all the essentials we needed to cook, relax, and feel right at home. We ended each night unwinding in the hot tub and watching movies, which quickly became our favorite routine. The host made the experience even better—attentive from start to finish, checking in to be sure our arrival went smoothly, guiding us through a simple checkout, and always being available whenever we had a question. That level of care truly stood out. Mornings on the deck were just as perfect—sipping coffee while taking in the peaceful scenery was the reset we didn’t know we needed. This cabin offered the ideal escape from our busy lives and set such a positive tone for the new year. WOW! This place is INCREDIBLE! I mean, next level great! They had new furniture, TWO fire pits, a blackstone AND kayaks! The host was incredible and very responsive to any message sent and actually cared. It was me and my husbands 5 years anniversary and the host continued to remember and congratulate us during all conversations had. This place really is magical and off the grid with GREAT WiFi for the area. There is a community dock just down the road where the fishing was awesome! We will definitely be back soon! Our only complaint is that we genuinely wanted to stay forever! Add to your must visit list now, all the amenities make it more than worth it and such a wonderful time away from the world!!
