Very nice house & well stocked with everything you need.About a 10 minute drive to emeraled isle area.The house sits in a heavy wooded area.Its wooded behind back yard.I expected to see a snake at some point during our week there.When we were packing our vehicle my wife said there was a snake in front of our vehicle.I checked & it was a juvenile copperhead.I tried to get it to go away but it just coiled up so I had to kill it.It was right where we were walking back & forth so we were lucky.It was coming from the front yard area.I think maybe from the landscaped island in middle of front yard.There was some huge cracks in the timbers.Because it was a juvenile means there is a nest of many somewhere in front yard area.Look carefully when walking around & definitely check under your vehicle before approaching.Definitly exercise caution outside at all times

Interesting! We spend a lot of time there ourselves and our parents are there all winter and have never seen any snakes. In turn, our neighbors likewise. But maybe the cat that you didn't register (as the cleaner mentioned finding a dish with meow on it, may have been interesting to a snake...) Thanks for renting and leaving the house in good condition. Much Appreciated.
