This is probably our favorite out of all the vacation rentals we've stayed at. It's charming and comfortable, with the feeling of being someone's cottage by the lake, not just a place to rent out. We were there in the fall, so the lake was just scenery rather than a source of activity for us, but it's really lovely and relaxing to walk down and look out over the water.The house was clean, well maintained, and well supplied--we cooked most of our meals and had everything we needed (including decent knives, which almost never happens). The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms are really nice, too.Jenny was very responsive to the few questions we had, and we really appreciated that we could bring the dog. Overall, a great weekend at a beautiful place, and we will definitely be back as soon as we can.
The dog liked sticking his head through the banisters from the landing, and it was very cute.
