Wonderful place to stay in Kona

Very nice condo. We enjoyed our stay very much. Short walk to numerous shops and restaurants with the ocean all along the route. The owner left numerous containers of coffee plus cream in the fridge. We definitely would want to stay there if we come back to Kona.

Great place, nice location

Condo is as described in the listing. Great place to explore the Island from. The closest beach is about a 10 minute walk away, many restraunts and a farmers market within walking distance. Only drawback is the living room furniture is not very comfortable, but didn't spend much time there anyways.

Beautiful decor, just as pictured on website. All the amenities and some little extras. Complex is very quiet despite being close to Ali'i Drive! Good communication with owner thru out our stay. Yoga studio on the back street.. great location! Would definitely stay again.

Fantastic condo in the heart of Kona!

My husband and I stayed here for a week and this condo was perfect for our needs, and the best vacation rental we've ever stayed at in Kona (we've stayed in a few). Katt, the owner, communicated details perfectly and has included a lot of extras that really made our stay even more enjoyable, and easier. The condo was very clean, very close to grocery shopping, restaurants, and beaches. We'd love to come back some time!

Centrally Located

Beautifully modernized and updated condo that is centrally located to Kona shopping and restaurants. We walked to dinner nightly to watch the sunset at the Kona Inn and Huggo's. Kona has beautiful sunsets. Our only complaint was that the beach chairs and beach towels need to be updated. Costco sells nice quality beach towels for $ 10 and full size beach chairs. These were so uncomfortable the we cut our beach day short. Overall a very nice condo and would totally recommend.

As to beach accessories, the chairs you referred to are low profile sand chairs, which were new. Large, reclining beach chairs are heavier for guests to carry; however, we will consider your suggestion, as our goal is to please all of our guests. Larger beach towels were recently added based on your recommendation. Please know every effort is made to ensure our guests have a pleasurable experience while with us. Suitable for a Honeymoon

We chose Kona as the place to celebrate our honeymoon. This unit was chosen due to its location/proximity to features that were nearby, and it provided us the opportunity to explore the town on foot. The underground garage set our minds at ease for security and safety. Our biggest surprise was how nicely appointed the unit was. Not only good taste and contemporary appointments, but really thoughtful "extras" such as a first aid kit, and sun screen. It conveyed a feeling that we were genuinely being "hosted", and not just provided a place to stay. The stay will forever color our thoughts and memories of Kona, and the very special time in our lives that brought us there.

nice condo - no view - constant construction noise both from complex garage and outside building. Impossible to enjoy lanai. Noise during day and parking lot lights shining into living room at night. Very loud air conditiong compressor.

Hi Kathleen, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following:- We strive to provide our guests with a great guest experience, so we were disappointed to hear your feedback and want to take a moment to address your concerns. - We were surprised to read about your experience as we didn't receive any communication during your stay regarding the issues you mentioned. We made sure you were aware that I was the primary contact and encouraged guests to reach out for assistance should they need it during their stay.- The condo is equipped with lanai blinds to diffuse natural light. Additionally, within the living room, blind slats have been installed over the sliding glass doors to effectively block out light in the evening. However, factors such as external lighting on neighboring buildings and ongoing maintenance activities outside the Kona Plaza are outside of our control. - We recently had a new Daikin mini-split system installed, which features a quiet compressor. After hearing your feedback we went to further investigate your concerns and can confirm the air conditioner was running quietly.We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

Living like a local

If you want luxury, go to Waikaloa. If you want to feel like you are privileged to stay in Kona like a local, this is the place. The condo is so well appointed: equipped beach closet, lanai dining, upper deck bbqs with great views, kitchen supplies were perfect. The furniture is beautiful, comfortable and lets you never forget you’re on vacation in Kona! The pool seemed small until we got in it: we were always the only one’s in it. It is quiet and peaceful. We didn’t rent a car, we were content to walk everywhere: grocery, ali’i drive, restaurants, beach, shopping. Lyfts and taxi were easy. It comes with a free parking space, our friends spent 25 and 50 a day for their parking. Katt communicated every detail and was very responsive to all questions. This is an affordable, well above average Kona condo. We will tell all of our Alaska friends that this is the place! Mahalo!

The vrbo was perfect for us. It had everything we needed. The location was the best part! We could literally walk down a short path and be on Ali’i. We were able to walk to restaurants, shops, and beaches. There was beach equipment too which was great. we loved it!

GREAT Condo in the heart of Kona

Very clean 1BDR Condo as advertised in the pictures. The view from the condo overlooks the pool area. To see the ocean you can use the BBQ area's on level 3 or 4. The grills in each BBQ area clean and in good working order. The entire complex is very clean. We selected this condo/location specifically for Ironman 2022. It was the best! You are only .25 mile from the start/finish of the Ironman race. During the 2022 Ironman event we watched the final run to the finish on Alli Drive and walked up to Kuakini Hwy to watch biking & running. You are so close to the "hot corner's" and in the middle of everything Ironman. The Ironman Village is less than .25 mile as well. This condo is close to both a Safeway and Walmart for groceries or anything you may have forgotten to pack. If you rented a car, it stays safe in a gated underground parking garage. The contact for this condo was very responsive to all questions.

This place has it all! It was centrally located next to lots of shopping, food, beaches and the harbors for water exertions. We stayed here for 6 nights. Katt was amazing to work with from the time our reservation was made and throughout our stay. She was quick to respond with any questions we had.
