Myrtle Cottage is a private guesthouse on 40 acres featuring lovely gardens, abound with local trees such as Live Oaks, Magnolia's, Pines and vintage Beech Trees and a fishing pond with Pirch and Bass. Wooded trails lead to the bluffs giving access to a picturesque white sandy beach on the Little Tchefuncte River. A paradise for bird watchers and enthusiasts of local wild life.
Minutes away from the Town of Folsom (supermarket, coffee shop, pharmacy, cafe's), Covington, Hammond, Ponchatoula and Abita Springs. One hour to New Orleans.

Excellent Place to stay

The house is amazing, very clean and furniture is top notch. Was a very cold night (20s F) but there was plenty of heat and the house was very comfortable. My family had a great stay and we will be staying here again.
