Welcome to Soaring Hawk, our beloved family log cabin perched high on Famous Yonah Mountain, just 3 miles from the charming Alpine Village of Helen, Georgia, and tubing on the Chattahoochee River.

🚫 No early check-in or late check-out allowed

🚭 Smoking & Vaping

Strictly non-smoking/vaping inside.

Permitted outside only.

If Smoke is smelt indoors = loss of deposit.

🐾 Pet Policy

Dogs only (Sorry no cats), with prior approval.

$75 pet fee per dog (2 dogs max, only charged for 1)

Must use flea/tick prevention 3 days before arrival.

Dogs must be crate-trained if they fret in a strange home or taken with you when leaving cabin.

No pets on furniture.

Pet damage/infestation = extra charges.

🧾 Reservation & Payment

Must be 21+ to book (unless with adult).

$200 refundable damage deposit maybe charged (held, not charged).

Full payment required 30 days before arrival.

Reservation can be paid in up to 3 installments.

Rates based on 4 guests. Additional guests (after 4):
➤ $25 per person per night, helps cover the cost of hosting a larger group

Minimum stay:
➤ 2 nights,
➤ 3–4 nights during peak/holidays.

❌ Cancellations

Cancel 30+ days prior = full refund.

Monthly bookings: cancel/change at least 90 days before.

🛏 Occupancy & Guests

Sleeps 6 in beds, up to 8 total (with sleeper sofa or the rollaway beds).

Only registered guests allowed on property.

No parties or gatherings.

No unregistered guests or cars, this is a private community – violation = deposit loss or more fees.

Parking limited to 4–5 vehicles, no road parking allowed.

Children under under 12 not permitted in or around the hot tub, without an adult present

Don’t walk/jump/sit on the cover — replacement charge = $600.

Reset temp to 75°F before leaving.

Use at your own risk.

🧹 Housekeeping

No daily maid service.

Please clean up at check out (trash, dishes, pet waste).

Optional housekeeping & extra trash pickup available with longer stays, for a fee.

A starter roll of paper towel is provided in the kitchen. No fir starters or lighters are provided for safety reasons.

🔥 Fire Pit

Extinguish completely before leaving unattended. Remember Gatlinburg

Do not turn on gas fireplace and A/C at the same time. Unit will freeze up

📺 Tech & TV Policy

Do not unplug/move HDMI cables or remotes.

Don`t connect game consoles or personal devices to TV systems.

Remote batteries: extras in hallway drawer.

⚠️ Safety, Noise, & Community Rules

Cabin is privately owned – not liable for injuries, lost items, etc.

Quiet hours: 10 PM – 8 AM.

No loud music inside or outside at any time, noise carries far and fast in the mountains

Do not throw trash into woods.

Secure trash with special bungee cords (to avoid animals getting into trash cans).

Respect neighbors and keep noise down — sound travels far.

Use black towels for makeup removal (not white bath towels). Beige towels provided for the hot tub, found in the basket in the living room

🚗 Weddings & Events

Attending a local wedding?
➤ Do not bring guests back to the cabin.
➤ No parking for extra vehicles. This is a private community
