We chose Old Homosassa because it’s truly one of Florida’s hidden gems. This little riverside town has a mix of laid-back charm, friendly locals, and endless natural beauty. Where else can you sip coffee in the morning, spot manatees by lunch, and enjoy live music and fresh seafood by dinner?
We loved that everything is close by—restaurants, bars, the Homosassa River, fishing charters, and manatee tours—yet the neighborhood still feels quiet and relaxed.
